1989 BMW325si locating fuse box

Behind the glove box. Two tabs at top need to be pushed up to remove glove box

It's under the hood. Fuse #32.

for my 2008 650i convertible I tried the socket 87 located in trunk, in front of battery, it takes yellow 20 amp, it worked, i had a penny fall in the cig lighter and shorted it. Thanks to Kudos98

Hi ranjit,

I think it is fuse 30 located in the interior fuse panel behind the glove box. If you open the glove box you should be able to see the fuse panel, and it should have piece of paper with a fuse diagram. I think #30 is the second row from the top and to the far right.

the cigarette lighter fuses are 87 & 88 located in the right rear trunk behind the pannel if you open up the first aid box in the trunk lid all fuses are documented

The cigarette lighter fuse is located in engine compartment under hood. Engine Compartment Fuse Block: The under-hood fuse block is located on the driver side of the engine compartment. The fuse should be beside the accellerator pedal behind a black cover. Should be a yellow 20amp in the middle row, at the end, closest to the front of the car.
