The cylinder head gasket? Or the cylinder head cover gasket (valve cover gasket). If it was the valve cover gasket, make sure the shop drops a bead of rtv on the round corners. If they don't, it will definitely leak

You can go to most auto parts stores to find out what the error code actually means. Once you know that, you'll have a few repair options. You could do it yourself, but that's really only a good idea if you have experience fixing cars yourself. You could also go to a mechanic. With some cars you can sometimes even find specialized mechanics to help you. I think that would be a really good way to make sure that your car gets fixed properly.

Replace the switch. In the dash is just a switch. On the steering column, replace the turn signal switch. It is shorted out.

1. turn on ignition(dont start the engine)
2 .Hold down the trip meter reset which is on the dispplay where MPH and rev counter is.
3. once in reset mode cycle through each section by pressing once
Normally the one that requires reset will be orange or red in colour.
4. Hold down until RESET? appears.
5. Hold down again until clock resets.

I'm afraid the coins did cause a shortage in the CD player, knocking out the player. A tech should replace it, when you still want to play disks. I hope your son did learn something, because it won't be cheap in a BMW to replace the CD player.

You need to find the bluetooth pairing code in your factory BMW manuals, it is on a sticker inside the sound system manual. Or if you cant find that, it is on the sticker on the bluetooth control module in the trunk, behind the trim panels.

Is the drive belt still fitted? If so draw a diagram of all the pulleys connect the pulleys in your piccy with lines as per your belt run on the engine.There may be an automatic tensioner you will require a tool to operate this You should be able to replace the belt now. Hope this is helpful.

most of the time, there is an access area inside the vehicle behind the housing. There may be screws or clips holding the trim/cover in place. Removing that should give you access to replace a bulb or to the nuts that are holding the light assembly to the vehicle.
