RUNS FINE BUT STALLS IF YOU SIT FOR MORE THAN A MIN OR TWO. RESTARTS NO PROBLEM. ACTS LIKE IAC PROBLEM BUT IAC NOT REPLACEABLE

Check the plugs at the coil and ignition module. You can grab them and wiggle them also. if it acts like it wants to stall, fix or replace the plug.

Make sure the throttle plate is clean and free of carbon and retry test. Sounds like your electric throttle is starting to malfunction.

Check the fuel pump pressure.
Also; when you use gas with ethanol, it attracts humidity that can turn into water during storage.
The answer is premium fuel.

It sounds like the catalytic converter could possibly be almost completely plugged up not allowing the exhaust to leave the engine like it should. It just builds up in the cylinder head and when it gets too much in it built up and there's no where to go, it'll stall the engine. By letting it sit for a few minutes, it gives the exhaust time to find a way out and the car will restart.

One thing it could be is the fuel filter. It's about the only thing that won't cause an engine light to come on.

Change the ignition pack . It's where all the spark plugs connect to.

Is the check engine light on ?
It sounds like the engine temp sensor is not right, but if that were true you should have a check engine light and a code for the sensor.
Have you checked fuel pressure ?

a bad crank sensor can cause this. shuts off while going down road, and will start about 10 min, later with no problems runs fine until it quits again. hope this helps,

maybe your iac valve is not working? it takes place of a choke or temp sender to computer could be bad which controls t I.A.C. known as the idle control valve,do you have any codes?

did you check you fuel filter and your fuel pump? i had the same problem and once i replaced the fuel filter its been fine since
