Take the car to the dealer and they will disconnect the Onstar for you or the onstar unit is located in the trunk of your car behind the carpet (usually labeled accordingly).Also check the Onstar fuse on the passenger side of the instrument panel .If you can't find the fuse dedicated to the unit you can pull that. If you can't find the unit then you can pull out the radio and unplug them from the back (more often than not it will be the smallest harness coming out the back). A quick way to test is have your car on and pull one plug at a time. Make sure, once you have located it, test your audio (some harnesses are for amplified audio systems).
