Have you done a tune up on the car? Change the spark plugs, check and change the intake filter and fuel filter, and add some fuel additive to restore the power back to the engine.

I had Toyota Gaia 1az engine, car start but no power. Already scan but there's no code. Need help why car has no power but scanner shows no problem

If your Toyota Gaia with 1AZ engine starts but has no power, it could be due to several reasons. Here are some steps you can take to diagnose and resolve the issue:
  1. Check the air filter - A dirty air filter can restrict airflow to the engine, causing a lack of power. Replace the air filter if it is dirty.
  2. Check the spark plugs - Worn or fouled spark plugs can cause poor engine performance. Replace the spark plugs if necessary.
  3. Check the fuel system - If the fuel system is clogged or not working properly, it can cause a lack of power. Have the fuel system inspected and cleaned if necessary.
  4. Check the vacuum system - A vacuum leak can cause a loss of engine power. Have the vacuum system inspected and repaired if necessary.
  5. Check the throttle body - If the throttle body is dirty or clogged, it can cause a lack of power. Clean or replace the throttle body as needed.
  6. Check the exhaust system - A clogged or restricted exhaust system can cause a lack of power. Have the exhaust system inspected and repaired if necessary.
  7. Check the transmission - A slipping or faulty transmission can cause a loss of power. Have the transmission inspected and repaired if necessary.

Intermittent miss

is this a 4.3 engine, if so A common complaint with the Chevy 4.3 engine is that it doesn't idle well, it's loud and makes awkward noises. Examples of this are staling, lurching and poor acceleration. being you checked the plugs and wires. Look for corrosion, breaks, exposed wires and loose connections.Lack of oil will cause a knocking sound in the engine, stalling, poor acceleration and eventually engine break down. check all vacuum lines closely. good-day!

Yea right what dealer wont tell i will tell, the 2.4 and 2.7 There is a TSB for this. They are to inspect for faulty CMP signal (cam sensor signal) which causes engine to idle rough or lack of power. they are to try shaking sensor connector to see if it affects operation and inspect for electrical connection for looseness and poor amle to female terminal pin fit. let me know if I help you out

Lacks power and acts like its not firing on all cyliders could the timing chain have jumped a tooth ? 1996 4.0L explorer 200,000 miles

Are there any engine codes ? This vehicle is OBD II ! A bad maf sensor will give you poor idle and lack of power and on fords often times no codes ! Another possible cause could be exhaust restriction due to a catalytic coverter being stopped up ? Previous misfires if driven long enough can trash a cat ! Let me know if any codes are present and what they are !
