I have 530xi Wgn and suddenly have massive electronic warning lights going on and tach and speedometer going on and off?

It's possible dimmer switch is bad or turned all the way down,75 percent sure that might be your issue check fuses too

TACH, SPEEDO, RADIO ,LIGHTS AND SO ON ,,WATER /MOISTURE WAS FOUND IN THE TRANSMISSION RANGE SWITCH ( NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH )CONNECTOR ,,,THAT WAS CAUSING SOME MAJOR TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES ,I REPLACED THE SWITCH AND CONNECTOR AND THAT SOLVED IT , , I DON'T KNOW WHAT ALL THE SYMPTOMS ARE FOR THAT PROBLEM BUT I WOULD DEFINITELY CHECK IT OUT ,,,

Most likely it is the ABS module is going bad and needs to be replaced or rebuilt at www.bba-reman.com, hope this helps.

Try this. I can't promise this will work though. Make sure the trip meter on the speedometer is set to the odometer. Turn the key off. Push and hold the trip reset button on the speedometer and turn the key on. Hold the button until the light goes out. This works with a lot of cars so maybe it will work on yours. Let me know something.

sounds like the computer has a glitch. you might need to go to the dealer to have the computer trained(reprogrammed) or to see if you need a new one.

2000 dodge ram 2500 truck 4wd the abs light and air bag light were on then the check engine light went on then all of a sudden all the gauges and warning lights went dead and off including the tach and other gauges. But now all the gauges are working and the check engine light went off with all the others and the tach and other gauges are working. what is the problem with this truck ? The only code it read was p1687 from the dtc. Is the problem the pcm or something else.
