The shifter cable came loose
The end of the cable on the GM is a molded plastic
piece. Part of the cable. If the plastic tab has broken off you really only have two choices.
- Replace the entire cable, a tough job.
- push the plastic end back on the arm of the trans shifter and use two zip ties in a cross patter to tighten it down. I have seen this work if done right for years.
Hope this helps.
How to replace a rear wheel bearing on the
Loosen the lug nuts. Jack up the car and pull off the wheel and brake drum.Unplug the electrical connector from the hub assembly Unscrew the four Torx head bolts that retain the hub assembly. Holes in the hub provide access to the screws. Remove the hub. Bolt the replacement hub assembly into place. Torque the Torx head bolts to 63 ft. lbs... and it would be best to realign after the work is done to ensure the "tow" is not off
I have a 2003 Buick Rendezvous and I am trying to locate a schematic for c305 connector so my shop can see it and determine if they want to try to bypass the connector and hardwire the wires.
This is some food for thought. The c305 connector carries the wiring for three major subsystems in your Rendezvous' overall electrical system, the fuel pump, evaporation system and all-wheel-drive. Though this part has been subject to water leakage due to the design of the vehicle, I believe it would be a much better idea to replace the terminals within the connector rather than replacing the entire device and hard-wiring the systems.
For one thing, it is entirely possible that hard-wiring could pose problems for your Rendezvous' diagnostic system because the rewiring might start throwing incorrect codes to a diagnostic reader because of a lost connection.
For another, it is also entirely possible that when you remove the c305 connector that the new hard-wired connection may not lay correctly and it might become a conduit for leakage. Indeed, that is one of the ongoing problems with the c305 connector. There have been a couple of service bulletins issued for various Buick models built in the 2003-2005 timeframe that cover the connector. The bulletins deal c305 issues such as corrosion caused by the design issue.
My suggestion -- and remember it is only my suggestion -- would be to replace the terminals within c305 and after it was all cleaned up and secure, pot it up with non-conductive, waterproof grease so that any potential leakage would no longer be an issue.
If you still want to replace the connector, I can forward the diagrams you are looking for.
How do i straight wire the c305 connector
Please send me these diagrams! You would be my savior today if you see this man! Cannot figure out where kn earth this orange wire goes, had to change my c305 on my 2007 buick rendezvous and there's and orange and light blue wire left with nothing the same color to hook to on the bottom side(that goes to tank)
Something killing the battery in steering column 2003 Buick Rendezvous
The dieing is almost certainly caused by a bad regulator in the alternator (new or not) or the wiring is not connected correctly. As far as the noise is concerned, you will need to describe it better (e.g. clicking?) and confirm where in the column it is coming from (e.g. near the wheel or close to or under the dash?).
How to change the02 sensors on a 2003 buick rendevzous
The O2 sensor on your Buick is located on the rear (under windshield cowl side of your exhaust manifold...You might be able to spray injector cleaner on it after removal...use PB Blaster to lubricate before removing the nut...also have you tried running some gas tank fuel injector cleaner in your gas tank recently? Sometimes this will help the sensor to work properly. To clear your "check engine light" you need to disconnect the positive side of your battery cable for about 15 minutes, then reconnect...the light should stay off if all is OK...Hope this helps.
2003 rendezvous fuel pump reset switch location
GM doesn't use an inertia switch, that I'm aware of. I don't know what testing you have done? Engine cranking, do you have spark at the plugs and fuel injector pulse? Any applicable trouble codes? If through your testing you have narrowed it down to fuel system, note the diagram.
Leaking coolant from rusty pipe (or tube) that heater hose connects to. What is that part called and how hard is it to change?
Does this 'pipe/tube' come through the bulkhead at the back of the engine bay from inside the car or is it on or near the actual engine? Could you comment below with another 'close up' photo of the the actual pipe?
If it is one of the two pipes poking through the bulkhead, it could be the 'Heater Matrix'. This is one of those jobs that to change the actual part is easy but getting to the part is a total pain in the tail bone. A 'take the Dashboard out' job.
Replacing most pipes, hoses and tubes will depend on what is at each end of it. Most short sections can be replaced if they are not part of something else like a water pump or a thermostat housing.

MY AC/HEAT WON'T EVEN BLOW
The fuse for the blower motor is in the floor concole fuse panel (see picture below). Also below is a diagram of the fuse layout. The fuse for the blower motor will be the fuse in the number 25 position. I hope this helps and good luck.
