3.1 or 3.4L engine> and 3sp. or 4sp A/T?
ahhh double posted with year....... good.....
wow, the 1 in a million post with country , I salute you ! You are SaVVY.
in usa any ASE shop here, can do trans diagnosis. any.
On car tests. there are like 6 tests.
this car may have a TCM, the TCM is the transmission brain.
It does all shifting.
ill look yours up. now.... at alldata.com
btw 1: slip kills a transmission bad, dont let it slip , be gentle.
first blush, oops there are 2 A/T 3speed and 4. so? which is it?
2nd blush get the fluid changes and filter, inside, a clogged filter drops
the pump pressure, and it can slip. if pressure in not at spec.
one tranny option is the 4T-60E, (E means tranny brain shifted)
electronic shifted.
and the PCM contains that TCM brain (integrated it is this year)
has 2 shift solenoids, and 2 TCC sol. and one temperature sensor
so if you have this trannny, SCAN the PCM'
with any scan tool
there are about 30 error codes, DTC.
P0751, to P1870 (slips codes)
use a scan tool that can see, and read, ford factory Codes P1xxx.
there are other tests. ask.

my jokes on BC.
bc, = Brit Columbia not Baja Calif, (book ends, BC )
but surrey nails it.

2007 Chevy Monte Carlo LT.

You need a better scanner to diagnose, not just for codes. It sounds like faulty shift solenoids. A professional grade scan tool computer is bi-directional and can command solenoids to operate and verify that they did.

My 2005 Chevy Monte Carlo kind of spits and sputters while driving. What could be the problem?

There are several potential issues that could be causing your 2005 Chevy Monte Carlo to spit and sputter while driving. Here are a few possibilities:
  1. Fuel delivery issues: If your engine is not receiving the correct amount of fuel or air, it can cause hesitation or rough idling. This could be due to a clogged fuel filter, a malfunctioning fuel pump, or a problem with the air intake system.
  2. Ignition system issues: A faulty spark plug, ignition coil, or other component of the ignition system can cause misfires, which can make the engine hesitate or sputter.
  3. Emissions system issues: Your vehicle's emissions system is designed to reduce harmful pollutants in the exhaust. A malfunctioning component of this system, such as the oxygen sensor, can cause the engine to run poorly.
  4. Electrical issues: A damaged or worn electrical component, such as a sensor or relay, can cause the engine to run rough or stall.
  5. Transmission issues: If your vehicle is experiencing transmission problems, such as slipping or shifting issues, it can cause the engine to hesitate or sputter.
To determine the exact cause of the problem, it's best to have your vehicle diagnosed by a certified mechanic. They can perform a diagnostic scan to check for any error codes or issues with the engine, transmission, or emissions system.

Looking for speedometer sencor location on a 95

It should be mounted in the transmission housing itself, near the output shaft, or possibly half way up a cable coming from the transmission.

Where is the paint code # for a 2004 Monte Carlo located?

It is on either the drivers door jamb or the B-pillar that the door closes against. GM will typically read:

PNT: BC/CC (paint Code)

When do i change the transmission fluid 2005 monte carlo?

Well, I'm not really sure what the manufacturer's recommended interval is... But to be honest with you, once every 100000 kms, or 5-6 years is plenty for a transmission fluid/filter change is enough (yes, there is a filter inside the pan of the transmission, assuming it's an automatic). But, if you notice problems earlier (transmission starting to slip, fluid discoloration, or any other transmission related driveability issues) the first thing to do would be to do a transmission oil/filter change as soon as you can. Beware of these places that offer a transmission flush, that's about as useful as putting winter air in your tires, and costs money for nothing.
