Your brake line might have a foreign object in it cause the pressure to stay in the line instead of realesing

The automatic transmission has none. You need to remove the pan or syphon thru the dipstick tube.Manual trans has a pipe plug for drainage.

SOURCE: Left front brake is faster to apply and release than the right causing the van to pull left on a 93 chevrolet G20 van

replace the brake hose that goes to the caliper on that side. Some older hose collapse on the inside and make em slower to release

2003 dodge ram 2500 front left brake smoking, check the caliper, go out and I can push back in.

When a caliper smokes it's usually because the slider pins are corroded or somehow seized. The prevents the caliper from releasing pressure on the brake pads. So it's not about the piston, it's about the slide pins

Bleeding abs 1993 chevrolet p/u, brakes are not solid, I have bled all cylinders starting with master cylinder, left rear to front disc. The pedal is soft and brake light stays on? I have replaced new brake...

Did you bench bleed the MC before installing it? If not, that's the problem. MUST be bench bled or you'll always have air. If brakes lights are on, the brake switch is out of adjustment OR (since you replaced the MC), the push rod is out of adjustment

2001 dodge diesel 2500 front brakes locked up. Checked all brake lines, bleed the brakes and they wont release.

frist thing to check is for residual pressure, apply the brakes and let off, loosen the bleeders there should be no pressure left, if there is suspect the hoses , if not the brake fluid may be contaminated and the seals have swollen, if the fluid was contaminated the only fix is to replace all hydraulic parts that contain rubber

No brake lights. Replaced bulbs and brake relay.

Check the brake light switch - it's mounted in front of the brake pedal shaft so that it compresses when the pedal is pushed. Work it manually (push, release) and see if the lights come on. If they do, try a small shot of lubricant (silicone, WD40, etc.)on the plunger to loosen it and restore normal operation. If that doesn't work, a replacement switch is inexpensive and easy to install.
