2022 Chevy Trailblazer LT. How to get front head rest off.

Make sure you replace it after removal. It is part of the safety system and prevents you getting a broken neck in a crash.

Depress the large button on the head restraint guide and raise the head restraint to the full up position. Depress the smaller button on the opposite head restraint guide and pull upward to remove from the seat.Jan 16, 2022

Is it possible for me to unlock my seatbelt that has been stuck around my headrest

First off, are you able to move the seat forward, backward, or upward to free up the tension on the seat belt lock so you can again pull out slack? If not, are you able to raise or remove the headrest to create slack in the seatbelt and release the lock? Without a photo of the situation it's difficult to understand how you managed to get a seatbelt stuck around a headrest....

Remove head rest on 2007 Dodge Nitro RT

Hi Kathryn, I'm glad to help! CAUTION: If you have "ACTIVE HEADREST" you will want to unhook the negative battery cable. NOTE: You'll also need to take the back of the seat cover off and unplug the connector going to the active headrest. Then simply push the release button on the side of the headrest and pull it upward and out of the seat. "HOWEVER" If you do not have the active headrest, then simply push the release and pull upward out of the seat. Hope this helps and have an awesome day Kathryn.

hi its just spring activated, just follow instructions below to reset the roll bar1. Raise rear headrest to its highest possition
2. With a screwdriver, remove the plastic cover that is located under the headrest between the roll-bar.
3. Reach down into the opening to locate the metal tab that has locked the spring loaded roll-bar into place.
4. Simultaniously push the tab in (towards the front of the car ) while pushing downward on the top of the exposed roll-bar to compress the springs. Push all the way down until the bar locks into place.
