The window being off track has probably fouled or damaged the door handle mechanism. The videos for both jobs should help. It is messy in there with wax so wear latex or vinyl gloves.

Have a bad habbit of tapping your brakes for no real reason. You are shortening the life of your transmission... Once your car is engaged in drive, the transmission is locked. Once you tap your break, the transmission unlocks. So if you have a habbit of resting a foot on the brake peddle or tap it often, you are causing unnecessary wear on your automatic transmission and could cause it to need overhauling or replacing sooner than later.
Answering this 2014 question in case some else has this problem. Most likely the relay is malfuntioning and needs to be replaced. The relay is located in the engine compartment behind the battery. An easy way to see if you have an alarm is to roll your driver's side car window down and lock it. Reach in, open the door. The alarm should sound. Also, on the Kia's, there should be a LED light located on the top of the dash, close to the windshield, in the center. The LED flashes when the alarm is on. If you do not see an LED light, but a plastic dome, you most likely do not have an anti theft system.
Answering this 2013 question in case it can help someone in the future. Horn fuse is located in your engine compartment in the fuse/relay panel which is behind the battery. Recomment you disconnect your battery before removing cover. unless the engine is running rough , forget the tune up as the ECM is doing that 60 times a minute ---have the fault codes read to check for reports on faulty sensors first
transmission oil change is at around 60.000miles or multiples of 60.000 or if the oil is not bright cherry red or like a clear tan color
the belt you can check where it goes over a idler pulley with the grooves exposed and if you see small cracks on the grooves , it is time to consider changing it as the cracks denote that it is getting too hard to flex properly and will break soon
if it is close to 100.000klms or 60.000 miles and the timing belt has not been changed it is getting to the danger zone and should be changed asap
find yourself an accredited service center that has experience on your vehicle to discuss it as transmission oil change and timing belt is a professional operation
the problem may within the electrical connection harness. with a Probe Light Tester-- check all connectors that follow along the cruise circuitry. be sure to test each connector along that line... individually.
