I'm not a car mechanic, but, it sounds like you might want to check the fuse to the ignition switch, and, if that fails, it might be a problem with the Start Safety Switch on the transmission. Good luck.
Usually this is a dead, bad battery or dirty battery cables or connection at starter. Turn your headlights on are they bright? if so and you try to start and nothing happens battery is good starter is bad
If the problem is no crank, could be the security system, key switch, neutral safety switch, starter, cables, or battery. I would check for power at the starer and work back. Did you try it in neutral ?
Start by cleaning battery terminals try to start if headlights are bright and nothing check the starter relay by the fuses stick the same type from another circuit or a spare one where it says spare. Try to start if the lights are bright hit the starter with a hammer a few times while someone has the key turned if it starts you need a new starter. If lights go out recharge battery or replace battery
