while running look under and see if converter is cherry red thats a visual --go to rear and feel the exhaust coming out if restricted or clogging will feel lite flow also smell the rotten egg smell is alo an indicator ----but ----their are many reasons your car can act like that check fuel filter/fuel pump ---fuel pump relay [overheating] ---egr valve
Check the fuel filter, then, if you feel like it's a problem with fuel. It sounds to me, though, like it's probably the EGR (this regulates how the leftover gas vapor gets re-introduced into the gas mix). Check the air filter while you're at it. You might also end up replacing the mass airflow sensor.
Ideal psi for this vehicle is 56. So the missing 6 should not really make that huge of a difference.
However most of your problems are occurring while the truck is under stress, ie... uphill with a load. I can only assume the readings where taken without the demand the truck needed at the time of failure.
If you believe this is a fuel related issue, which I can not really diagnose with the information I have. I would start by looking at the fuel pressure regulator, then the pump.
Since you have already checked the relay and filter, the regulator and pump and the only things left in the system that control the fuel coming from the tank to the engine.
Once the fuel reaches the engine a lot of other factors come into play, such as the injector and components. But without the codes to go on, I'll just address the pressure going to the motor in this.
After you have checked the regulator and pump, if the problem persist, please feel free to come on back, and post the MIL codes as well as more info as to the conditions and demands for fuel at the time of testing compared to those at the time of failure.

FIRST CHECK YOUR FUSES THEN LOCATE YOUR FUEL PUMP RELAY TURN KEY ON WHILE FEELING RELAY IF YOU FEEL IT CLICK THEN REMOVE LOWER SECTION OF REAR SEAT YOU WILL SEE A ACESS PANEL W/PHILLIP SCREWS REMOVE PANEL AND YOU WILL SEE YOUR FUEL PUMP
2 things come to mind fuel filter and catalitic converter. One or both could be clogged.
Have someone push down on the gas petal while you feel how much exhaust is coming out the tail pipe.The farther they push down the more volume of exhaust you should feel.

The fuel filter needs to be change every 30000 miles.
You dont say how old or the mileage on your car so its hard to say for sure but, 2 things come to mind.
1) fuel filter and/or fuel pump pressure.
2) clogged catalitic converter. Check to feel the exhaust pipe as someone else pushes down on the gas petal. You should feel increased pressure comeing out as they push farther down on the petal. This is something you can check. I hope this helps you.
Buy, borrow or rent a code reader. PLUG IT IN UNDER YOUR DASH. Follow the instrutions'and it will tell exactly why the light is comming on. Like your dealer should have.
