I cannot locate the part that I have removed from my vehicle anywhere on the web. I only find that other part. I called the dealer with the info posted here. I gave them the last 8 of my vin# and he said they had the part AND the adapter for $110.84. I'm heading to the dealer to pick it up now.

http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l292/l... This is my Old part. Her is my new.....http://i99.photobucket.com/albums/l292/l... I had to take out the bare ended wires that are coming out of the new part and make the wires from the car (Red little purple and black) go into the now vacant spots. MATCH COLOR NOT LABEL ("a""b""c") They are not labeled correctly. The colors tho, dont lie. I did that and vwala! all fixed!

GMC 2004 Envoy blows heat even with blower off ... Why ?

The relay in your blower motor is stuck on, there is a TSB for this issue. Replace the blower motor resistor and you'll be back in business.
How does the resistor get power if the fuse is pulled?
Replacing the resistor will cure both problems. TSB is a technical service bullitin seen below

2006 gmc envoy blower motor dosenot work on level 4

You have a defective blower motor resistor pack or the wire harness/connector to the resistor pack is damaged. These items are located under the dash on the passenger side behind the glovebox.

REPLACING BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR FOR GMC ENVOY 2007

Check where the blower power plugs into the blower housing under the hood. Disconnect the power connector and you will see that the 'plate' that the connector was plugged into can be removed. Remove it; that is the resistor.

I have a 2004 GMC Envoy XUV and the blower motor only works on high. I would like to repair, please help

Hi, it is likely the relay in the resistor assembly has failed. Replace the resistor assembly.
To access the assembly, remove the right closeout/insulator panel (above the passenger's feet). Then remove the Instrument panel storage compartment door. The resistor looks like the pic below and is screwed into the heater box. The wires shown connect to the blower motor, and another 5-wire connector from the control panel is plugged into the resistor. Take the connector off and unscrew the resistor to replace. Please let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

2004 gmc envoy blower motor does not work on high or number five

sounds like a blower motor resistor. it might just blown the fuse also(for resistor). Pick uo a chilton book at advanced auto or any auto parts store. They r like $12, it will show you where to find resistor and fuse.

Htg and a/c fan switch only works on high in 2004 GMC Envoy. The a/c and heat work, just the blower only blows on high

Sounds like the blower motor resistor module is bad. It is located behind the glovebox and mounted to the blower motor. Open the glovebox and in the back left corner find a spring, push on spring to release glovebox door completely. You should be able to see blower motor and resistor module.

I have a climate control problem on 2004 gmc envoy, it's climate control's fan is not working at level 1-3

The likely problem is the blower motor resistor pack is defective. It is located behind an access panel below the glovebox. Go to www.trailvoy.com and do a search on "blower motor resistor replacement"
