SOURCE: 2000 7.3 Liter diesel engine needing oil pan replacement
sadly I don't think there is. The oil pan is huge and sections of the frame are in the way of getting it in and out without damaging the pan severly. pulling that massive engine and replacing the pan, then putting the engine back in and reconnecting everything in 14 hours is a good estimate. sorry for the bad news

get a set of ramps to drive up on, or a bigger floor jack. ramps are the easiest.

drain the oil from the pan and remove the filter.
Lift the car up and secure it . So it will not roll or fall. Remove the bolts from the pan using a 10 mm or so and a rachet and small extension. There are several bolts all around the pan. Remove the pan and remove the gasket. Clean up the pan and remove all gasket material from the pan. Install the new gasket around the pan and replace back.

There are a couple of solutions here.
You can try to retorque the pan bolts and this may slow or fix the leak. This is probably the easiest thing to try.
You may be able to drop the pan down to the cross member and sneak the gasket into place. This is more difficult, but may save having to jack up the engine.
You can't remove structural bar.
If you do decide to lift the engine, you can probably replace the gasket by lifting the engine while everything is still connected.
Good Luck with your project.
Tim
Thanks Ford! You could have made a bolt on crossmember.
SOURCE: What type of power steering fluid & capacity for 1985 ford e350?
On yours, you can use atf but power "steering fluid" works just as well.. steering fluid is used as a specific requirement on later vehicles and if you use it in the 85, you can use the leftover to top off anything you have that is newer. (can't do that with atf)
