Heated seat not working on 2000 ford expedition eddie bauer

Both - the driver and passenger front seats aren't heating up. When the switch is depressed, the light on the button lights up, but the seats don't heat up. The fuse under the dash is ok.

Check continuity on the seat heaters. If that's ok, check the grounds. Check power to the heaters while you are there.

SOURCE: rear window defroster, no driver heated seat

check the ground on the passenger side of the rear window under the trim panel. That is what was wrong with mine.

SOURCE: heated seats do not work

First off, I would contact your local Jeep dealer and have them run your VIN # to check for any recalls. The 1999-2004 Grand Cherokees had a recall on the seat heaters. If your vehicle doesn't fall into the VIN # range then either your seat heater switch has gone out, or you have a broken element in the seat heater. I have replaced more seat heaters than switchsm the elements heat up and break. Hope this helps out.

Best of luck

Front seat will not slide forward? The seat will move up and down, tilt, and the lumbar works? Even the heated/cooling seat works? What do I need to look for and how do I fix it:?

The power seat in the truck has 3 motors, one of them is not working, the most common cause of this is the power seat switch is defective, it is often the forward and reverse seat positioning switch that fails because it is the one that is most used. If the switch checks ok then you will need to replace the the power seat track assembly, Ford does not sell any parts for the track, it is only available as one complete unit, I know this because i retired form a Ford dealer. Heated seats not working.

You should start by checking your fuses under the dash. Should be a small panel under the dash or on the side of it. The panel has a legend which shows the position and title of each fuse.
