P1410, P0441 & P0773 codes in '97 Toyota Camry

Failed state emmissions test and received these codes (.P1410, P0441 & P0773). No 446 code so I don't think it's the gas cap. I also don't think that 773 code has anything to do with emmissions but I'm still concerned. The car runs perfectly in all conditions. I really just want to get it past the state. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

P1410 - Fuel Tank Pressure System
P0441 - Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow
P0773 - Shift Solenoid Electrical
P0446 - EVAP Vent Solenoid Valve Control System

Ok, above are the codes listed on your description and there respective definitions. the P0441 and the P0446, basically run parallel and they mean the same thing. Its concerning the disposal of fuel fume waste that is burned in the EVAP canister during the EVAP process. the EVAP vent solenoid valve will have to be replaced.

The P1410 can be resolved be replacing the fuel pressure regulator which is part of the fuel pump assembly. I would also make sure the gas cap is correctly screwed on and its tight and mot lose.

The P0773 is quite different than the others. this concerns the solenoid that is located in the transmission pan. the scan has detected a malfunctioning solenoid that may ****** the shifting cycle of your transmission.

The EVAP situation will fail the emission's test if not fixed but, this shift solenoid issue, although not an emission's issue, should be check and fix soon.

Please rate and god bless:)

My 02 camry le failed emmission test whats wrong error codes po440, po441, po446, po420

You have codes for a failed exhaust converter,PO420,
EVAP System problem PO440,Incorrect Purge Flow PO441,
Evap Vent Control issues,PO446

Your car is all messed up

That should have been all checked, BEFORE you spent time
in line for inspection

If all the codes are for real & not a false report

You will need new spark plugs, ignition & fuel checked,
new exhaust converters, new evap purge valve, new evap
vent solenoid & possibly vacuum leaks resolved

You either bought someones neglected vehicle or never
do a thing but drive it

May be easier to get a different vehicle, your repair bill
will start at $1,000 & go up, from not being proactive & taking
care of what is required in owning any vehicle (lack of knowledge)

You will need the oxygen sensors also & no, they won't fix the
amount, of what appears to be several failed items, all at one time

So much for Toyota being better than other vehicles

1998 toyota camry, 2.2L 4 cyl. P0325, P0441 and P0446 trouble codes

Code 325 is for a problem with the knock sensor circuit, code 441 is for an incorrect flow with the purge valve and the vent for the gas tank, and code 446 is also for the vent control circuit.
I would clear the codes and see how many come back after a test drive. You may need a shop manual to test the circuits.

You may have to replace the sensor. If you get a chilton manual at an autoparts store, it will show you how to test the sensor with some test values in the book. The book should run about $20

1998 toyota camry V6

P0420 indicates you have a catalyst efficiency issue; replacement of the Air-Fuel Sensor should take care of that;
The P0441, P0446 and (I assume P0440); you said 446 twice, indicates a faulty or loose fuel cap; it is not sealing properly.
Please feel free to respond to me if you have any further questions.
