The compressor is probably not running. Why depends on if the system is full of freon or not.
If it's empty and I add freon will that help...someone says it's a pump another said it's the clutch I'm confused
Well working on the ac system is usually beyond the scope of the DIY person. It takes tools and knowledge most people don't have. Freon gas is minus 35 degrees coming out of the can so you can get frostbite if your not careful. The pump is the compressor which is what the ac clutch is driving. And if the system is empty there's a major leak that would need to be found and fixed. AC is a closed system just like your fridge at home. If the system is full of freon you probably have an electrical problem which could be one of several things.

Take it to a garage and have them evacuate the system and refill with refrigerant. you have air and non condensibles in the refrigerant system.
SOURCE: Only cold air on passenger side
I would first check and make sure that you have enough Freon in the system, on climate control dual systems only one side will put out cold air if the system is low on Freon. Eventually, both sides will put out warm/hot air if the system continues to loose Freon. As with all leaks the system should be checked and then the leak causing component replaced/repaired.
SOURCE: The Ac is blowing cold air out the driver's side
The actuator motor is bad and needs to be replaced for the right side.

It sounds like blower motor has failed. Motor is located behind glove box on lower part of heater box.
