The compressor is probably not running. Why depends on if the system is full of freon or not.

If it's empty and I add freon will that help...someone says it's a pump another said it's the clutch I'm confused

Well working on the ac system is usually beyond the scope of the DIY person. It takes tools and knowledge most people don't have. Freon gas is minus 35 degrees coming out of the can so you can get frostbite if your not careful. The pump is the compressor which is what the ac clutch is driving. And if the system is empty there's a major leak that would need to be found and fixed. AC is a closed system just like your fridge at home. If the system is full of freon you probably have an electrical problem which could be one of several things.

SOURCE: Air conditioner on 2002 Pontiac blowing hot air, although freon is not low...also makes a clicking noise.

Take it to a garage and have them evacuate the system and refill with refrigerant. you have air and non condensibles in the refrigerant system.

SOURCE: Only cold air on passenger side

I would first check and make sure that you have enough Freon in the system, on climate control dual systems only one side will put out cold air if the system is low on Freon. Eventually, both sides will put out warm/hot air if the system continues to loose Freon. As with all leaks the system should be checked and then the leak causing component replaced/repaired.

SOURCE: my 2002 ford explorer wont blow any air out of the vents...

It sounds like blower motor has failed. Motor is located behind glove box on lower part of heater box.

05 buick rendezvous overheating recently changed thermostat heater blowing cold air when runs hot

Sounds like you may have a head gasket leak. But first I would check the water level and get the air out of the system. Air is bad is water system. When bleeding the air squeeze the hoses to burp the air out and I also would suggest looking for a purge nut on the top of a water line or housing on the engine. Check the fan is working or works. And then maybe consider the thermostat was installed wrong.

2002 Buick Rendezvous no heat and over heated after warming it up for over 30 minutes.

Have a pressure test done on your cooling system, you sound like you could have a leak in your system or your system just needs to have the air bled from it. Check your coolant level also, with air in the system and not enough coolant it will blow cold and cause overheating.

I have a 2003 Buick Rendezvous. The drivers side blows hot air and the passenger side blows cold air. The car has that dual zone climate control. I have no clue where to start.

The actuator that 'blends' cold with hot is stuck in the cold position. There are a couple of options. Disconnect the battery, then drive the vehicle around without using the AC for 10 min, if the AC is defaulted to come on after a battery interuption, then shut the car down then turn it on again. You are trying to get the electronic actuator to reset and resume proper function. Another option is to try this: Start the car, adjust the pax side full hot, drivers full cold, wait 30 sec then shut car down, then start car back up and reverse the settings, pax full cold, drivers full hot. In both solutions, the vent actuators are stuck at either the full open or full closed, so you are trying to get it to 'self check' and allow them to resume proper function. After two years, I simply removed them altogether since I live where it is hot an only need cold.works just fine....

2005 Buick Rendezvous. No Air comes out of vents. Thinking this is from a bad fuse or blower motor. Need help in locating what to do next.

It sounds like you have a vacuum leak. When there is no vacuum present to acutate the system, it will default to air only coming from the defrost vents. Is the blower motor operating or is the 'no air' you're talking about just no air blowing? If it's not blowing, check your fuse; if that's good, check for voltage at the blower connection. If you have voltage at the connection, remove the resistor to make sure it isn't bad befor condemning the blower motor.

Only cold air on passenger side

I would assume with multiple people having the same problems, there should be a service bulletin on this issue. may want to call dealer with vin # to verify. sounds like a heater control issue under the dash. something i would leave to the experts for repair
