The Air conditioning system keeps blowing a fuse.

I own a 2000 GMC Sonoma SLS. It has very little problems except for the air conditioning. It has a full refrigerant charge, but when I turn the air on it pops a ten amp fuse located under the hood on the driver side. Iv tried replacing the fuse many times but still get the same result. When I turn the air on all I you hear is the audible click of the fuse blowing. Its getting frustrating....

1996 GMC Sonoma SLS 2.2 litre engine starts missing and looses massive power going up hill

This can be caused by anything limiting fuel pressure or ignition spark. Tune up items, bad coil/module, bad fuel pump, filter, relay, bad converter, muffler, dirty air filter, vacuum leak, EGR, or others.

ABS breack moduale wont shut off

May be your abs control module. Check autoecu.com and call the number listed and technical support can help and repair this abs control module if it is bad . They just repaired mine for the same problem you are having. My truck is a 2001 GMC Sonoma SLS with the extended cab. It works fine now. You need to pull the 60 amp fuse for the abs system that is under the hood to keep the pump from running all the time so it want drain your battery down. If the pump keeps running all the time it can damage it also and they are expensive.

I have engine code P0410 for a 1999 GMC Sonoma. It has a 4.3 Vortec engine. Is there an air pump to replace and where is it?

Hello, the air pump is located under the rad. on the lower core support towards the right. and yes you will need to replace the air pump, you will also need to install a updated hose assembly with a new filter. also in allot of cases the air pump fuse will blow when the air pump goes bad. the fuse is located by the battery in the right fender.

My air conditioner is not blowing out cold air. How much freon do I put in a 2000 GMC Sonoma ?

That all depends how much freon it still has in the system, best way to check is with some a/c gauges, if you put to much it will not cool or could damage some thing, and if not enough will not cool right, used a/c gauges for right amount of freon, now if the a/c system is empty it takes 1.88lbs of 134a freon.
