I'm trying to charge my car battery.  I do not have the manual for the battery charger.  The red fault indicator light started flashing and I have no clue what this means.  Help!?

Obd11 scanner has sent all the lights in the car crazy flashing on and off. Took battery off and this did the same to my charger Help please

Did you charge the battery with it still connected? Read your charger instructions as all the ones I used have the battery fully disconnected from the vehicle. I would have the battery load tested first before doing anything else.

Battery just changed, but then went dead. Battery Tender blinks red.

Its possible the charger is telling you the battery is too dead for the charger to work. A safety feature to keep from burning up the charger.
I'm not aware of any fuses between the jumping post and the battery. You may have a short in the car that is draining power.

I was driving home and all of a sudden all of the warning lights started to flash on and off...battery showed little to no juice. I did make it home, but as soon as I turned the car off and tried to turn...

Ladytkk:

The clicking sound is the starter solenoid (a relay) trying to connect the starter to the battery. This is normal when the battery is run down. the first thing to do is to see if you can charge the battery.
If you do not have a charger, see if you can borrow one. BTW, a small charger is a good thing to have, especially if lights or etc are left on and your battery is dead when its time to go to work. You can get a small one at a Walmart like store for a reasonable fee. Connect the red lead of the charger to the red (+) terminal of the battery and the black lead of the charger to the black (-) lead of the battery. Let it charge for at least 5 or 6 hours. Unplug the charger, disconnect it from the battery and try to start the car. It will probably start. At first opportunity, drive the car to one of the major auto parts stores like AutoZone and have them load test the battery. If you need a new battery, most stores will install it right there.

Hope this helps Good luck Loringh Please give me a rating Thks

Truck won't start, new battery, lights keep flashing

Sometimes the new battery is not 100% charged. Put it on a charger or jump start the car, the alternator should then charge up the battery.
