I have a Kohler 12.5 KW marine generator on my houseboat that has a problem I was hoping you could help me with. Specs: Kohler 12.5 KW 79 CID 23HP Mfg date 9-10-96 Gen Engine Serial # 06919 L-29-RK Model 12.5E Spec 110211 Serial # 462366 Model VSg-4131-6005A SO 1752J Model Code TOA-1752-NBB When I went to winterize my generator last year I ran it to warm up the engine and run the fuel stableizer through and it started and ran fine for about 10 minutes. when I stopped it to start winterizing, I cranked the motor for about 10 seconds and it cranked fine but did not start so then I think before the motor stopped I hit the start switch and the motor clicked and then the starter did nothing. Then all I got when I hit the start switch was the choke clicking and nothing else. After checking the battery which was OK and trying again with nothing happening, I removed the starter and it spun fine out of the motor. I then tried to turn over the engine by the crank pulley bolt and it seems the engine will not turn at all. There were no loud noises or bangs the last time it ran or cranked. I removed the spark plugs and still nothing (and no liquid in the cylinders. Do you have any ideas on what I need to check next? I appreciate any input. Thanks

You have all the symptoms of a low voltage condition in the battery, Kragen and other parts stores like it will test your battery and charging system (alternator) for free, but it is pretty safe to say the battery is toast. Don't reject this solution without the test being done, I think you will find I am right, low battery voltage can cause trouble codes to be set and low fuel pressure to name a few..

Sounds like you have a problem with your fuel injectors, either they are working to much or not enough once they get warm....
Take it to a shop ant tell them you want the injectors tested.
SOURCE: crank, no start 98 wrangler 2.5l
crank sensor likely-may be distributor sensor but my 98 sport was crank sensor situated in bell housing timed by flywheel
SOURCE: P1320 code appeared and we replaced the cam
i just had the same problem in my bmw 325i. Probably vaccum leak or exhaust leak. Check that nothing came loose in these areas. It takes time for your car to learn the new CPS (cam pos. sensor) so give it a few days and reset the code again and see if it works.

Remove the spark plugs then turn it over via the crank pulley..... If it doesn't move you broke a rod or seized the rod bearings.
