Is it the heater core

In our 1990 bronco 2 the passenger side floor is soaked however it apears that there is a leak on the outside as well could the presure be sending the coolant down the fire wall? The coolant is puddling on the grouns when the vehicle is running but the drip appears to stop when the veicle is turned off

96 CHRYSLER TOWN AND COUNTRY THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR IS SOAKING WET THE HEATER CORE IS ON DRIVER SIDE WHAT COULD BE LEAKING

heater core is actually centered behind controls- plumbing connections are on passenger side-look in engine compartment for leak first- loose clamp or split hose- then go to core- can try BAR's Leak first if not a hose problem

2000 Chevy cavalier first my car had a horrible smell of antifreeze coming out of heater vents. then i noticed the floor only behind the passenger seat was soaked with antifreeze. after 2 weeks of...

The heater core is not plugged, it is leaking and will have to be replaced. It will have to be accessed from under the dash on the passenger side. This can be a very difficult item to replace and very time consuming. Plan on it taking a full day.

THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOR IS SOAKED IN MY 2002 XG350. IT HAS BEENTHIS WAY FOR A WHILE. I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT WHERE THE AC DRAIN IS TO SEE IF IT IS CLOGGED

Is the water on the floor sweet smelling? If it is then you may have a leaking heater core. They've been known to leak onto the floor. Antifreeze usually has a sweet smell to it so you should be able to tell that way. Your A/C should just drip condensation outside the vehicle but I wouldn't think that it would be enough to soak your floor constantly. Hope this helps

Floor board carpet is wet

the heater will not cause this. check under body for any damaged sheet metal. good test is go to carwash, give it a good soaking and see where it is leaking from.

Floorboard on passenger side is soaked, why?

The heater core is located on the passenger side of the passenger compartment under the dash. There is a possibility that this is leaking. When the heater core leaks there is generally a sweet smell and the windows will fog up inside of the car. The A/C's evaporator core is also located in the same housing unit. It could also be an AC problem.

Water leak passenger side in dodge caravan 2005 carpet soaked

look at the firewall on the engine side and you will see a small stub hose coming out on passenger side about even with the bottom of the heater box inside. that hose drains condensation from the ac...clear it out and you will have a dry floor. (unless heater core is leaking but you didn't mention any overheat or coolant loss so likely that's not a problem)

Water leaking onto floor of front passenger side of vehicle

Water on the floor indicates a heater core leak. You may also find a mist coming from the inside of the car when you run the heat and or AC. If this is the case, have your heater core checked out. Best of luck.

Does my 1997 toyota land cruiser have a heater core?

Check with Toyota Parts. I'm sure there is one, but it is unavailable at a retail parts store. Heater cores are pretty much as necessary as the four tires on the outside are. My advice would be to remove the core and check the hose clamps or connections for other issues. You want to be sure that the leak is in the core and not in one of the hose connections. I think that is odd that your driver side floor is wet and not the passenger side. Open the hood and look for coolant hoses attached to the firewall (the sheet metal between your dash and the motor) and see if they are on the driver side or the passenger side.
