SOURCE: Fuses no. 7 & 37 on my 318is K-reg Bmw keep MELTING.

you have to figure out where there is a short in your wiring--follow wires, look for broken, missing insulation--if it started in lights, look there first maybe. Also check the connections of plugs. Good luck it may take some searching.

My 2005 matrix keeps blowing 15amp rear running light fuse every time light get turned on all other lights work fine.whats causing this?

fuses blow because of dead shorts or excess current draw
to blow a 15 amp fuse indicates a dead short
by disconnecting the rear lights , the problem is in something else you have replaced
could be a problem in the head light wiring

Bmw 525 i 1990 left rear tail light comes on only sometime what is the problem.

Check the ground wire first, it's the brown wire and several of them join on a tab that is bolted somewhere in the trunk. Check under the bolt for corrosion. Clean and re-attach.

All my interior lights work except for my dashboard lights

Bigird,

I would recommend checking the fuses for the dashboard lights. If no fuses are burned, there could be a possibility of the bulbs in the dash being burned. In any case, start by looking in the manual for fuses relating to dashboard/gauge cluster lights. Once you find out what fuse it should be go from there.

Good luck

I have a 1990 f350 4x4 dually cab and chassie with a 460 5spd and the problem is i have head lights but no tail lights or running light and it blows the fuse every time and if i put a bigger fuse in it it...

Check the fuse its #4 under the dash and I have the same problem right now i have narrowed it down to the left rear tail light is grounding out somewhere.

2003 Sienna tail lights don't work when headlights are on

Look under the dashboard, next to/above the park brake pedal, for the interior fuse box. It has a black plastic cover. Remove the TAIL fuse, and see if it is blown. This should get you fixed up. Hope this helps, and Thanks for choosing FixYa.
