My 1993 Dodge Grand Caravan has a problem with the wipers, the wiper motor works but somehow I think the wiper transmission has failed. I removed the three nuts and pulled the wiper motor off,the motor was not connected to the brackets and I think there lies the problem. My problem now is I dont have a clue how any of this goes back together and I have removed trim pieces to make access to repair but I just dont know where to start and I beg for your help in this matter. SOURCE: Replace the front wiper motor 2000 Grand Caravan Dodge

It is on the firewall under the hood. It has 3 to 4 bolts holding on. Be careful when taking it out to see how the new one lines back up. Hope it helps.

SOURCE: removing rear wiper arm 1992 grand caravan

If this is a factory wiper arm look at the area where it hinges. There should be a small hole in the metal. Find a drill bit or shaft that fits the hole. Lift up on the arm, insert the drill bit. When you release the arm it should be raised of the glass supported by the drill bit. Now without pressure applied to the glass you should be able to wiggle it off the shaft of the motor. Hope that helps.

SOURCE: my 2002 dodge grand caravan turn signal and wipers

Probably is the Body Control Module if you have checked the fuses in the fuse box and none are blown and you have verified power is coming to the wiper and signal switch. One simple fix you can try with the battery disconnected it to unplug and then replug the wriring harness to the BCM that fixed a Chrysler T&C that had the same problem. I also include what someone else gave as advice.
The body control module is located under the dash, directly behind the junction block that contains all the fuses/relays/plugs. The way you could verify that the wiring up to the bcm (from the wiper control) is working, before you go to the expense of replacing it, would be to locate the black plug on the bottom of the bcm (if you look under the junction block/bcm assembly you should see a gray connector and a black connector protruding from the underside of the bcm) and pull that plug, which is the one closer to the cowl. I believe you will find a dark green/yellow wire on pin #7 (from the wiper control) of the plug and a black/light green wire on pin #10 (ground). You may probe those wires with straight pins inserted thru the insulation so as to contact the internal conductor, then replace the plug (but make sure the straight pins don' touch oneanother), turn on the ignition switch to 'run', and measure the voltage between the two pins, you should find that the voltage will change proportionately as you cycle the wiper control through the six different positions of intermittancy. If not, then there is something the matter with the wiper control or its wiring. If the voltage is changing proportionately, then the manual does say to replace the bcm as the solution for that problem.

I need to replace the windshield wiper blade

The 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan takes 28" wiper blades on both sides front and a 18" rear wiper. See related links below for more information. Since there are over 22 different wiper arm attachments, do not buy wipers just by length only - be sure to lookup exact wiper blade part numbers by vehicle make, model and year for the brand wiper you decide to purchase. This ensures correct length AND correct attachment.

1996 dodge grand caravan windshield wiper motor is running but the wipers will not move do you have any idea of what the problem is and a way to fix it??

the linkage could have come off the motor itself there is a locking clip that sometimes breaks and allows the linkage to come off.you would have to remove the under hood cover to gain access to the motor along with the removing the wiper arms to remove the assembly so you can work on it there is the washer hose that will have to be removed also.

My wind shild wiper are not moving but the motor work..

windshield wipers are connected to whats called a Wiper Transmission. Its the unit that actually engages the wipers to the wiper motor. sometimes that disconnects. also some wiper bolts will loosen right at the base of the wiper arm. its rare that both wiper bolts will loosen at the same time. probably the wiper tranmission assembly somewhere has come apart.

Air bag light is on 96 grand caravan

i may be mistaken on if this applies to your model year but if the rear wiper does not work then check the fuse for rear wiper and replace if blown. make sure rear wiper switch is off and wiper is parked.if air bag light goes out after a few seconds then the rear wiper motor is bad causing fuse to blow. air bag module gets power for its fuse through wiper fuse.if wiper is not parked then fuse may blow when you turn yhe key on.you have two choices. replace wiper motor or remove tailgate door panel and unplug the motor

The windshield wipers are stuck vertically and now

This sounds like the wiper motor has failed. You can pick one up at the local parts store. If not mechnically savvy, I would recommend taking to shop for working in tight areas that these can be. But, otherwise, the motor is on the fire wall, unplug, remove screws(4), exchange with new, and reassemble as removed. I hope this helps.
