I have a 1993 mazda 626 the first problem i had is that the battery went dead, lights dimmed ect.. i replaced the altinator and battery and it still does not help, the battery just gets drained down, next while trying to fix this problem the car starts overheating, i put in a new thermostat, that didnt help and now it blows cold air out of the vents at all times. is the waterpump bad? i need help i think its something easy but i dont no what.
That second Problem IS The Waterpump. As for the First Problem, You may need to replace the Belt and Belt Tensioner. If the Tensioner is Bad it will allow the Belt to slip and will Not allow the Alternator to Recharge the Battery. For that Matter it Could cause the Overheating Also. I would go with the Belt and Tensioner First and see where you are.
