Noise moon roof while driving with the moon roof open

The regulator is bad. Stretched cables, worn gears. You would have to remove the column bezels and the headliners to access the sun roof window. Replace the whole thing as you can't buy one without the other.

Hi i never worked on it but i would try to Dryglide special product easy up open and close windows and so spry on the edges and see maybe the mechanism is going stiff and force to open u buy Dryglide from Repco good luck

sounds like you need new rubber seals, but first, open the roof, and with a damp cloth, clean dirt off the inside rubbers, then close roof most of the way and clean around the edge of the glass/metal, which ever it is. Then close it fully and see if there are any tiny gaps. Does it leak water ? Red.

Could be a bad connection or a bad switch for the moon roof.

it sounds like something that is broken inside ,u might need a new moon roof track complete unit

Drive it to a muffler shop. You won't hurt anything driving it, just your ear drums, maybe.

does it have a wind sheild that comes up when sunroof open has it done this all the time if not there should be a small wind shield that pops up when the roof opens if it has none you can buy a wind reflactor for a few pounds which atatches to sunroof

i had the same problem with girlfriends delaer told me when wind test and design them there roof racks are on so i was changing the drag causing the noise. when i put the rack back on the noise stopped

i have a 2004 saturn vue and my moon roof will not shut ,
how can i fix this? is it expensive to fix?
