Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem? My truck is rejecting any cd's that i try to put into the cd player. If it goes in, it comes right back out. It makes a constant noise--the noise is that similar to when it ejects a cd. Whether the car is on or off, that noise is still there.
Are you trying to Play Burned CD's???? If Not, This IS a Common Problem on Chevy CD Players, My 95' Silverado went out and it was going to cost as Much for a New one as for an Aftermarket. Went Aftermarket. A LOT of people are having the Same Problems.

Its both --store bought cd's and burned. So by your statement, Ill assume that this is not fixable and that I will have to replace the unit all together. Thanks for the insight, noise is driving me nuts.
mine is doing the same thing. the stupid noise, and it says check cd. check cd. even when radio is on fm, the dumb check cd thing is going, and the noise eject sound is going. my TB has 126000 miles on it so its prolly time to get a new cd player
