Sep 6, 2012 - My 2006 Trailblazer will not start, bought a new battery, still will notstart, not even with a jump. ... i get a jump i drive it and charged the battery it seemed fine but then i went ... Then, next morning, when I turn key, all lights come on and radio... back a day and 360$ well that pos still will crank but will not start. 02 trailblazer a/c problem

I'm not a car mechanic, but, it sounds like you might want to check the fuse to the ignition switch, and, if that fails, it might be a problem with the Start Safety Switch on the transmission. Good luck.

Have the fault codes read. Replace faulty items. Use only genuine items as non-genuine replacement are not always compatible with the OEM fitted CPU units If you needed a bigger battery then the autozone salesperson should have sold you the correct battery first time round.( try getting a refund on the first battery) Jump starting an efi vehicle incorrectly will do serious damage to the control module requiring a new ecu unit. Check what is staying on when you switch off including interior lights/ boot light

You got a jump and it ran fine? It's your battery. The lights and radio are much easier for a battery to handle than spinning a car engine. Again, if all you needed was a jump, you have a bad battery.

Take it in to have a charge system check done on it, Your alternator is probally shot,

Battery was completely dead ? after how long , over night , or just out of the blue ? These year GM vehicle's 03 to 06 have instrument cluster problems , draining the battery . Do you know what parasitic draw is ? Google it . They used lead free solder constructing the electronics , an after a while it causes silver migration .

hi its rob sounds like ur battery needs changed when a battery is left to go flat the cells start to buckle each cell is two volts if u loose just one of these the battery will not hold its chardge.sometimes u can get intermited chardge were it will be ok one minute and the i will just dye the next
