You only have a few choices. Buy a repair manual at a parts store. Go online and google wiring for your truck and you might find it posted for free. Go to Alldata .com and pay for the info you need or ask nicely at a repair shop or dealer that can print off the required info.

SOURCE: 1997 s-10 pickup oil pressure sending unit

It is behind the distributor and is a PITA to get to. However, it is a simple two wire plug and screws into a right angle elbow. not a hard job. Take the cap and rotor off the distributor to give yourself some room.

SOURCE: where is the oil pressure sending unit located at

Good Evening. The location of the sensor is almost hidden, however very common on gm trucks as far as location. If you crawl up on the radiator support and look back at the distributor now look to your right and straight down you will see it. I also recommend the special socket designed for oil pressure sensor removal/installation. Hope this helps, and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.

Oil pressure light comes on every now and again 1995 dodge ram van b2500 5.9l non turbo

The only way to know if you need engine repair or you have a bad sender is to hook up an oil pressure test gage to the sender port and manually check the pressure. You will need the deep oil pressure sending unit removal tool to get the sender out (I did this).

I need to know where is the oil sending unit at on my 2008 Chevy impala

On Chevrolet Motors, it depends on which engine you have and that will vary the location... Start by looking close to the Oil Filter. On the 5.7 Liter engines, it is on the Back side of the Engine, On some of the smaller, it si located below the Exhaust.

I have a 2003 gmc sierra 5.3 liter vortec why does my truck leak oil only under pressure

because your oil pressure rises to around 40psi when running and will leak at the weakest place, check your oil sending unit first and seals.

I have a 1995 Chevy Lumina with the ''Low Oil'' light on.

may be the oil sending unit is bad
may be the oil pump
is there any noise in the engine?
have the oil pressure check at a repair shop to make sure you have enough oil pressure
if it's ok then have the shop replace the switch while they have the old one out to check the pressure

Oil pressure sending unit

Hi there;

Your looking foer the oil pressure sensor on the 2004 8.1L.
You will find it located directly behind the EGR valve threaded into the block just to the drivers side of the center bolt for the transmission to block connection.

Thanks
