Ford mondeo diesel 130hp 2 litre keeps cutting out. 2003 model

FORD MONDEO DIESEL 2003 130hp 2 litre keeps cutting out. Not showing up a problem on a diagnostic thingy! Drove 35 miles the other day so car was warm. came up to a bend put my foot on clutch to drop down a gear (so was probably idling a bit) and car cut out, lost all power steering etc. would restart after a minute or so, it then didn't do it for a few days. Then went to work, after about 5 miles was going up a slight hill, changing downgear as was in slow moving traffic, car cut out and car behind nearly hit me! restarted after a minute or so. The same day went out at lunch time, came down a steep hill to traffic lights, stopped at lights when i then went to pull away from lights got in to poss 3rd gear going round the bend from lights car cut out again. this time would not restart and coil light was flashing but wouldn't restart. Was eventually towed away on a AA truck. Taken to garage. Garage can now not got car to fault! I know this has a problem and it is very scarey when everything cuts out and you are stuck in traffic or late at night when on my own. (a woman.) Any idea's on what this could be please.
couldn't find MONDEO name on your list!

I had the cam sensor changed on Monday as advised by 2 of the others. Touch wood it has bben OK for the last 2 days so I am hoping this has solved the problem. Should it re occur I will of course take your advise. Thank you for answering my query.

my mondeo won't start without easy start, and then it cuts out when going up hills or a slight rise in the road. we have changed the cam and krank sensor's, we have cleaned out the EGR valve, changed the glow plugs, the code P0251 appears on the diagnostic meter, what can we do to fix this proble?

I think you have a fuel pressure problem on your fuel rail get them to do a fuel pressure check most ford dealers can not do this so find yourself reputable diesel specailist

My diesel mondeo.everytime i hit 70kmpd the glow plug light flashes then engine management light comes n & car cuts out with no loss of power

You need to get the fault codes read which could mean that the reader has to be connected on a test run until the same thing happens again

My ford mondeo keeps cutting out

Inspect around the engine for loose air hoses. Also pull out the troublecodes with a scanner to get more info.

What oil should i use for ford mondeo turbo diesel

5 litres of Ford SAE 5w -30w (Formula E ) ...available from Ford (or sometimes a lot cheaper off Ebay).

If you try and use anything else,( eg 10w-30 etc)  then the turbo does not like it and the running becomes slightly sluggish
