Analog clock don't work
I am not familiar with Mondeos, but usually analog clock works all the time.... no matter if ignition is on and off..... ignition usually just turn on and off backlight of clock.... so I would check for fuse or some loose connection leading to clock..... check if you have power for that clock with ampermeter
Drivers electric window is not working
If your electric window does not work, there are usually one of two issues - either the switch is not working, or the motor is shot. First question, do the other windows work? If not, check the fuses and relays. if so, check the switch, it is easiest to get at.
The switch usually just clips out. Make sure that the cable connector is mounted firmly on the switch. If possible, swap the switch out for the switch on another door. If they don't fir, the chances are that they are at least electrically compatible. This should tell you if the switch is OK or not.
If the switch checks out OK, the problem is most likely with the drive motor which is mounted way inside the door and you will need either lots of time and patience to get to it, or you need a tame mechanic to assist you.
Good luck
How to remove the malfunction light from the dash
If you disassemble the instrument cluster to disable the light, an open circuit is created and the powertrain control module is put into a "limp in" or "service" mode. You maximum engine rpm is reduced. You maximum vehicle speed is reduced to 50 mph and several other systems are disabled (like stability control and traction control). You're better off just having it diagnosed and repaired properly.
