SOURCE: 93 s-10 blazer keeps blowing ECMB fuse which also

The ECM tells the fuel pump to come on. You can get a circuit breaker from most parts stores, and many stores you can get a repair manual for $20 that will have a schematic in it.

SOURCE: Tail light fuse keeps blowing. I have traced the

Are the bulbs out of the sockets and the fuse blows?
Take bulbs out and check again
Place one back at a time if fuse was OK with bulbs out to locate bad bulb.
Otherwise.......
Do this........if still needed with bulbs out and fuse blowing.
Put a circuit breaker in to replace the fuse of the same amperage.
It will trip off then back on.
Use a standard cheap magnetic compass........place along lighting wiring........the wire with current will cause the needle to jump as circuit breaker trips on and off.
Follow path of current to problem.....the compass will stop moving once past the shorted /grounded wire/connection.

My fuse keeps blowing on the fuelpump of a Lincoln ls 2001 do I need a new fuel pump

Probably. The fuel pump is really easy to do on an LS. Just remove the rear seat and make sure to keep spark or heat sources away. DO THE FUEL FILTER too. don-ohio

Keep blowing Fuel pump fuse 95 Buick Park Avenue

You may have a short in wiring to fuel pump. Try this! remove the wires from fuel pump, then turn key to start the car briefly. If the fuse does not blow, its likely the fuel pump is drawing to much current and blowing the fuse. God-Bless!

1993 Buick Roadmaster keeps on blowing fuel pump/ecm in-line 20 amp fuse. Car stalled out in a parking lot, would not start, no fuel. Changed fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pump relay. Found fuel pump/ecm...

Sorry to say it could also be a faulty ECM. The ecm uses circuit boards to provide grounds to a bunch of components and can short out internally.
Most of those components can fail and cause the same problem by causing a short "thru" the ECM. Things like injectors, O2 sensors, and so on.
I doubt you will find the problem without a book and some test equipment.

My 1997 k1500 5.0 keeps blowing the fuse for the fuel pump, the pump was put in about 6 months . i track a grey wire from the fuel pump RELAY through the back but don't know to what it gose to,i cut the...

that gray wire is the fuel pump power supply . You cut the wire were an positive tested it ??? An what does that mean . you positive tested it ? Wish you people would learn to talk like a mechanic would ! If you cut the wire near the relay an checked with a ohm meter or a test light with B+ volt , of couse it going to show ground ! It's going through the fuel pump windings to ground on the other side . What fuse keeps blowing ?ECM B - 20 amp ? This powers the fuel pump as well . May not even be the fuel pump circuit blowing the fuse . You need to find everything that fuse powers and isolate the different circuits . Videos on youtube showing how to find a short .

Fuel pump wont run and keep blowing a fuse in the front fuse box

The power wire to your fuel pump must be shorting out somewhere. Disconnect it and see if your fuse still blows. If not, then follow the wire all the way back to the fuel pump, and look for a bare spot. Good luck!

Fuel pump fuse night mare

It ended up being a bad oil pressure sending unit, it is in the power loop for the pump. When the oil pressure would come up when started that is when the fuse would blow. A friend who works for a mechanic in town found a diagnosis digram for the fuel pump and that is how we found out that the the oil pressure sending was in the wiring loop for the fuel pump
