So you know the fuel pump would have nothing to do with the plugs getting spark, right ?
You said the coil tested good, is it getting voltage from the key switch and a ground signal from the distributor ?

at first i thought it may be fuel issue now i believe it is electronic. how do i voltage for key switch and ground signal from distributor?

You would need a wiring diagram of the ignition circuit. Depending on which engine you have there should be one wire for the coil that is power from the key switch and another that provides a ground signal. If the coil is also the module that manages timing you will have several wires in the harness.

Sounds like you are either losing injector pulses, fuel pump pressure, or spark pulses.

Before tearing into anything, check to make sure your battery and cables are in good shape. Then check for engine fault codes. Even if your check engine light is not lit, there may still be codes pending.

My 2000 dodge wont start battery is good checked fuses plugs fuel pump is getting gas it will run for a few days then stop

might want to check the starter. the parts stores can test it once its removed. does it turn over or it wont run? people confuse this. if it wont start that is a starting problem. if it wont run that is a fuel or spark problem. to total different thing. if it turns over the starter is good. not running after it turns it can be a number of things. crank sensor or cam sensor. bad ground or many other things. need more information what it is doing?

Spark plugs

Not suddenly, as in run fine one day and no-start the next. If what you are saying is that the engine doesn't even turn over to try to start, no, plugs will not cause that.

test fuel work? run for 3 seconds, sprayed into intake ports.
??????
if yes, it runs on test fuel and stalls then find out why you dont have fuel.
what makes you think you even have fuel?
if there is no spark then we check the ASD relay action
and work from there, ask.

Van will not start

Running then suddenly and abruptly stopped with no spark = broken timing belt. The Camshaft is not turning due to the timing belt being broken so you will not have any spark.

89 dodge shadow. hard start. normal idle cold, fast idle warm. sometimes it wont start until i hear fuel pump activate.

Hello,
The car may be hard to start because it may need a normal tune-up. If the spark plugs are pretty used, they will slowly stop burning as much fuel because the spark slowly gets lesser and lesser. On a cold day the fuel is harder to ignite with a small amount of spark.
Normal idle when its cold means that your cars idle is probably too high. If you lower the idle, the choke on a cold day will keep the idle a little higher until the motor warms and then it will kick back off. If the idle is too high, it will run very rich, smothering itself with fuel, and causing the idle to stay low. When the car warms, its creating better spark when its warm, and with the idle being too high its running at a fast idle.
The car wont start sometimes can be the cause of a few things. If the ground is bad on the fuel pump, it wont make a good connection sometimes for when you turn the key on, the fuel pump dont pump the fuel to the engine. Another one can be that your accessory switch can be loose going to the fuel pump. I think its your ground though. Good luck! Hope this helps.
Have a nice day. -Steve
