SOURCE: problems with cold engine

I took my car in to the shop and they found there was a lower intake manifold gasket leak. They replaced my upper and lower manifold gaskets and now it runs great! We have been going through a process of elimination and started with plugs and fuel filter, then battery, then cleaned the fuel injectors and finally the intake manifold gaskets. Replacing them seems to have done the trick.

SOURCE: Check engine light came on this morning, mazda 3

I would take it back to the dealer and tell them the check engine light came on not long after oil change. Have them run the code on their dime...it's a reasonable request!

A loose gas cap will defintely trigger the engine light, but in most cases, it will reset itself within one week. Some cars don't have a reset which forces you to have a mechanic reset it for you.

SOURCE: 2005 mazda 3 2.3l that is burning oil (no leaks)

possibly the pcv but check if your cars exhaust smoke is blueish or white in color if it does and your car doesnt have an oil leak then sure its burning engine oil along with fuel, the piston rings is defective, since you replaced engine oil the additive that the owner has put with the oil to prevent blowby is gone thats why it starts burning oil.....

SOURCE: Check Engine light stays on, car stalls in idle

Sounds like your getting EGR at wrong time cause the valve is stuck open. Have them check the EGR valve out.

Did you notice if your speedometer quit working at the same time? If so, there is a glimmer of hope, it may be a vehicle speed sensor problem. Otherwise, it sounds like the trans just took a dump. Try shifting the trans into ALL gears (including 2 and 1) to see if that makes a difference.

98 mazda 626..starts then shakes and then shuts off

A few things could be causing this problem:
  1. Vibration when running is an indication that one or more spark plugs are fouled or missing
  2. Cracked/worn distributor cap
  3. On all models except the Millenia, the fuel filter is attached to a bracket located in the left rear of the engine compartment, next to or beneath the brake master cylinder fluid reservoir
I hope this answered your question. Best of luck.

My Tracker shakes like a wet dog when idling!!

You could check to make sure the plug wires are all intact. If they are, try replacing the wires and plugs. It could also be that the idling is set too low. It could be the mapping sensor as well. Also try, Maybe the coil pack is going bad. It will cause the engine to misfire. The can be bought at Auto Zone or Advanced Auto. Some place like that...
