Key will not start the car. jumped across starter and engine will start but only runs for a split second then dies. suspect a relay.

If the BCM has been replaced, the BCM has to be reprogrammed by a dealer as it control many car functions.

You have a problem in the fuel pump relay circuit for sure then. I'm betting the relay, but it could be that dropping resistor.

Hello, you seem to have a problem with your anti-theft system the ignition lock cylinder has two wires that are very small and are common at breaking because every time the ignition switch turns the are being rocked back and forth, or either there is a malfunction in your key, but odds are you will be replacing the cylinder. You will also have to have a new key made. This fix is kind of exspensive so I would advise you to let the dealer do it. Besides when putting the switch in it could be possible to damage the new one so let them have that headache. Thank You

ok. the relay is under dash drivers side left of the steering column. now first check for power with key in the start position. at the heavy yellow wire at the relay and then check the purple wire if both have power then your neutral safety switch mybe at fault. check it as well. check for power at the switch bolted to transmission. the two heavy wires going to the switch will be starter in and starter out. so check for power at the two there if power goes in but nothing comes out the change the neutral safety switch.

Try turning the advance-trac off. If you have a systems menu (Should be right side of Speedo) you have options for Park assist, bells ,chimes and so on. One selection is the Traction. The traction assist works by throttling down the engine when it detects a difference in rotation from 1 wheel to the next.
You need a scan for the codes but your hunk of metal is not able to go to Autozone or Oreillys until you start it.
You may also want to try to enter the keyless entry code in the door keypad in case the antitheft is upset. Your alarm may block the ignition.
Defeating the traction control and alarm system may get you going.
