If it's been sitting a while it's always a good idea to put some sort of gas treatment in it. Ethanol added to gas nowadays is bad about getting water in it if it sets.

I would assume that one hose is for either side. I would get a measurement of the old hose

You have a back up lamp relay in the (power distribution center) by your battery

I'd start with a new flasher relay (they're cheap). If not that, then go to those lamp sockets and check for corrosion. I had issues similar w my 95 laredo...it was the flasher.

If you have not done so pull the engine codes or have someone do it.
The codes will give you a good idea where to start otherwise the first place I would check is replacing the Crankshaft Position sensor. This is not only very common for them to fail but I have 1994 Laredo and 1996 Laredo and both had the same trouble at exactly the same time. In addition I replaced the Intake Air Temp sensor, coolant temp sensor and idle air control valve on the 1994. The clicking is probably relays and is more than likely normal.

bulb holder fault or bad earth on light cluster ,try putting side lights on and then indicator if it all goes flashing between the two then its a dodgy earth connection .
