Hi.

The Trailblazer transmission has no factory installed drain plug. To drain the ****** fluid you need to work from underneath the truck and drop the transmission pan off.

Regards.

The oil pan has to be removed to do a through job ,fit a new filter at the same time. Some shops remove the oil cooler hose and drain from there with the engine running. We don't do that service , if the fluid needs changing so does the filter.

How do I correct Ac condensation on 2004 Chevy trailblazer?

After using your A/C and you shut vehicle off in your garage or drive way see if it leaks water on the floor or ground. If it doesn't your evaporator drain is plugged. Not uncommon to see this.

I am losing transmission fluid but can't find a leak????? where can it be going

I take it that it is an automatic transmission, if it is draining that much fluid a month and you can't find any outside leaks it could mean there is an internal leak somewhere. If you see a pink milkshake color in your coolant then it could be the radiator transmission cooler which I believe wont cause an outside leak so you can start from there. It is located and is part of the radiator. Just follow the transmission cooler line and it will lead you the possible problem.

Which drain plug is the correct one on a 2004 toyota 4 rnner. There is one for the transmission and one for oil.I dont want to drain the wrong one

The oil drain plug is the one closest to the radiator, on the larger of the 2 metal pans. The oil drain plug is directly under the engine.

The transmission drain plug is on the smaller/thinner metal pan, it is directly under the transmission.

How do i service my transmission on a 2004 chevy trailblazer

transmission pan must be removed to drain fluid & change filter.loosen all pan bolts, remove all but 4 bolts @ corners.strike pan with a plastic hammer or block of wood if it's stuck. slowly remove remaining bolts, allowing fluid to drain into a suitable container.this can get messy, have rags handy.when drained, remove pan, clean pan & transmission gasket surfaces.pull filter straight down, push new filter on to tube, positioned as original, install new gasket,'run down 'all pan bolts then tighten them securely.
