I have a 1997 BMW Z3 and it without a doubt has a positive grounding electrical system. I even took it to BMW of Chattanooga and they confirmed it as well

Negative, like every other modern vehicle. It's only some old classics from before the late 1960's which use positive grounding.

I need to hook up the ground for a 2002 Buick Rendezvous and don't know where. The negative cables are all in place properly the positive cable has 3 wires. One eye hook to the alternator and one to the...

In modern automobiles' 12V systems the positive is an isolated system and the negative uses the vehicle's chassis as the conductor. Since DC voltage is a two wire system there is no such thing as a ground per se. Any grounding that would be required would be referencing the negative terminal anyway. So you could ground anywhere there is bare metal in the car.

I have a 2008 BMW 328xi and my cigarette lighter fuse blew. Which fuse do i change for the lighter, i can't figure out which icon or number the fuse is.

Using a test light connected to negative or ground, check all the fuses on both sides with the ignition key in the 'On' position. A bad fuse will only light on one side.

How do you jump a battery on a bmw x5 2005

There should be a positive connection in a plastic box under the hood, between the US passenger side strut tower and the firewall. It will have a big red plus sign on the lid.
Clamp your negative lead to the lifting lug on the head, or any other good ground connection.

When changing the battery on a 2006 530i BMW, does the car need to be reprogramed for the new battery and how do you do it?

Loosen the battery anchoring. Start the car before disconnecting the battery, Remove Negative first, then the positive. Be very careful and insulate the positive terminal once it is removed so it doesn't come in contact with ground or the negative terminal! Replace the battery, reconnect the terminals (positive first) and then re-anchor the battery to the car. If you follow these instructions, you will not need to re-program your car.
