bmw has a problem in that the exhaust manifold bolts are through to the rocker cover oil reservoir and the stud threads allow oil past the threads , past the washer and onto the hot manifold the fix is to remove the studs and use a thread sealer in the threads to seal off the threads use a quality thread sealer ( suggest loctite red gasket sealer as it is heat resistant) there is nothing wrong other than a lack of bmw knowledge discuss it with the bmw shop to see what they say

you drive a beemer, you can afford to spend 20 bucks and get it done at an oil change place.

It is attached to your oil pan, it is a flat sensor. Google "oil level sender E38" and select images, you will see what you are looking for.

check the asd relay , the autoshutdown relay will kill the ignition and fuel pump after the 3 second fuel pump pulse when starting the car

For what? Where do you & thousands of others come up with this stuff about reset buttons on vehicles If you had to charge the battery-- it failed for a reason What was it ? How old is the battery? Was it tested? If not-- there may be your problem You can't just say it won't start-we can't help You may never work on vehicles or know how to You have to tell us what was tested & how Where is the car,in a shop,your working on it & need to know something? Starter is out & at parts store to be tested? Have to give us something to work with

maybe the AC is leaking - if all the AC fluid is out the motor will probably not engage as a safety measure. Otherwise it could be a sensor somewhere or relay.

All the ones i have seen are just tight fit.. there is no secret latch or anyrthing.. Try protecting the leather seat and putting a little WD40 on the shaft wait a little while and apply some muscle.

There will not be an opening for the fuel tank inside the car. This would be an enormous safety risk as you would have volatile fumes in side a confined space. May be you are wanting to open the filler door in the side of the car from inside the car which is a vastly different question
