there is a procedure involving holding the sunroof switch open or closed for a certain amount of time to reset the travel limits of the sunroof. i dont remember which at the moment. but do yourself a favor and head to an auto parts store and pick up a shop manual for the vehicle. it will become invaluable trust me!

sounds like the usual ,one of the ring gears on the drive shafts has come loose

i have the same problem after new head gasket all blead engine up to temp but not very warm heater any ideas

Entering the codes too many times may lock this system.You may need to contact a dealer to help you further in this occassion.

The problem is with burnt fuses, try finding the busted fuse and installing new one. Good Luck

the problem will most likely be in the drivers master window control switch, just replace it and everything should work ok again.

fuel pressure problem.when you kill it it is supposed to hold pressure.your getting air in it.not good. take to a mechanic. its a deep problem

if you look at the reverse of the fuel pump you will see a 13mm nut holiding a 10mm bolt. undo the 13mm lock nut and turn the 10mm in or out to adjust the mixture, this is easy as you can run the engine with the adjuster lose so you can high rev it and adjust all the black smoke away. dont go too far or your power loss will be devastating, you need to listen to your engine and look for smoke at the same time. i always leave a little black smoke at the high end of the revs this will give you enough power but wont black out the street.

Remove the radio from the dashboard

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels, barcodes or stamped in the metal casing

The folding pouch that came with the truck would have a card inside a plastic holder with the number on it. I do not know about pushing a button so many times and then on to the next number. All I do is enter the five digit code and bingo. I work on mine a lot and have to reset it every time I disconnect the battery. Find the adjuster idler pulley. It is a pulley that does not drive anything ie aircon, powersteering,waterpump etc. It will have a single 15mm? bolt on it. Fit a suitable spanner on the bolt and turn clockwise. You will find that with minimal force the whole pulley will move and the (old) belt becomes slack. New belt is no longer too small and can be fitted.

on most Discovery's the fuel rail will have a schrader type valve (usually on the right side of rail -US pass side). let the car sit a while before you do this and have some rags to collect any fuel that shoots out. (wear protective eyewear, and dont stand directly in line wiht this as it can shoot a distance). press the valve (like a tire valve) slowly, and fuel will squirt out until the pressure is equalized. in some cases, wiht weaker pressure regulators, you may not get much out at all. thx

I think its fairly standard across all Land Rovers. First of all you need a code. This was supplied on a credit card sized piece of card with the original vehicle. I'l assume its not to hand... Typically, you can source the code (which is specific to your serial number / radio) from a supplier such as this on eBay

Code in hand, you are ready to enter it and unlock the radio.

You only actually need numbered button <1> and the two seek buttons that look like <| and >| .

When you turn the radio on, you should see it request <CODE>

Press preset button <1>. This should identify character 1 of the code.

Use one of the two tuning buttons (Seek up , or seek down - the ones with arrows going into lines) to move to the right number (0-9).

Press preset button <1> again to lock digit 1 and move onto code digit 2.

Repeat twiddling the upseek and downseek. Press button 1 etc .... until all four codes have been entered.

When you press <1> for the final time, if the code is correct, you'll get a two tone beep to confirm and the radio is unlocked.

If incorrect, you are progressively locked out (in doubling time periods).

This is likely a faulty pump unit. When they get worn internally they tend to "froth" or airate the fluid. Could you see where the fluid was leaking from?

In order to bleed the brakes on this car u need a special tool that holds the ABS Hydraulic control units pop-it valves open, without this special tool that plugs into the ABS you can't bleed the air out of the ABS control valve module, u either have to have the dealer do this or someone who has a factory equivalent of the ABS special bleeding tool, Snap-On tools most likely makes these, they are horribly expensive.

have you checked your coolant? that might be why its blowing cold air

You may need to get underneath and adjust the handbrake adjuster, but you could have done some damage to the transfer box/rear prop/diff as a result of your actions. Best to get it looked at by someone who knows what they're doing to assess any damage.
