have you checked to make sure that they are not a pin hole leak in the hose if not you may need to check the pump

Strange. Why did the mechanic not find the problem?

sound like the alter belt or the alternotor itself needs to be replace to go the cheap way first i would have my battery tested and to check the alter yourself do this easy test start the car with the car running remove the postive battery cable off the battery if the car stay running then the altern is good if it shut down you need a new alter good luck

even the mechanical parts of these can use a shot of wd 40 on occasion.. keeps them from sticking..

Its possible the thermostat is stuck closed, but if there were true it should run for a few minutes before showing hot.If it has set for an hour or two and still heats up in seconds, something is going on in the engine.

sounds like speedometer cable is gone or the gears between the cable and transmission which makes the reduction for sppedometer if no cable on that year they have a sensor

check for fuel, in fuel rail,theres a bleeder valce. turn key on and push bleeder valve if steady stream of fuel comes out, check for spark at spark plugs. go from there

Sounds like a fuel system problem. I would check ect (engine coolant temperature) sensor. Also could be maf (mass air flow) sensor. Is the check engine light on? If so, you can retrieve trouble codes at your local car parts store to get some hints as to whats going on. Keep in mind that it may be a wiring issue, but this is not very common.

What I found online that made the most sense, weak fuel pump, clogged fuel filter, or CAT converter blokked up. One suggestion offered was to disconnect the O2 sensor and see if that helped.

If it doesn't work on any speed check the fuses, if it only works on full or a few speeds the resistor block mounted in the cold air chamber has failed and will need to be replaced. If the fuse is ok but the fan still doesn't work at all check the plug is fully pushed in at the switch, the resistor block and the fan motor. It could be a burnt out fan motor but check the other stuff first.Hope this helpsTerry

Yes the P0501 code is for a speed sensor - VSS. When the car's computer/ECU/ECM doesn't get a signal it may cause the car to go into 'limp' mode and not work correctly or @ all.The turn signals shouldn't be related to the VSS, but get the P0501 fixed first.The speed sensor can be inside or outside the transmission. Inside is very expensive to fix; outside shouldn't be too much - unless they have to drop the transmission to access it.Edit: Read this LINK.There is a TSB - Technical Service Bulletin -it's NOT a recall, but refers to an issue that some cars have and the dealer is not obligated to fix for free. I would suspect you have a short in the wiring to the transmission or the shift solenoid inside the ****** is shorted. Only way to know for sure is to get the wiring diagrams and trace down and inspect all the wiring that the fuse powers.

There is fuse in fuse box..check that...In most cases if fuse is fine then this would indicate that fuel pump has failed and needs to be replaced. in some cases in some cars the cut off switch fails and needs to be reset or replaced...as to the location on your car?? more than likely fuel pump is bad....hope this helps and good luck.....Please rate my post and thanks in advance.....if need more help fill free to contact me..

Have you checked the air filter and filter box for a blockage ?Low fuel pressure would also be a possible cause.

A warped throttle blade could cause this or a binding throttle cable or linkage, you must have to figure out which one.

If it is a box close to the gas tank, it could be the vapor canister.

will the car not start? I have washed many engine compartments and never had any problems. you'r car has no distributor so water should at the most affect 1 or 2 plugs but it is unlikely
