Yes, the rods must have some side clearance between them and the crankshaft. Consult your manual for this measurement. It will usually be between .001 and .003 and can be measured with a set of feeler guages. this is not a bearing clearance, but a clearance between the rod and the crankshaft. Bearing clearance can be measured with plasti guage.

Kind of an odd problem. This may be off in a different direction but I had an 78 BMW that the left turn signal did the same thing .It turned out to be the hazard light switch had a short in it. The problem was intermittent and very frustrating. The fix was a trip to the junk yard for a set of rims and the switch was a freebie. Don't know if this will help but I guess it can't hurt.

Is your radiator low of fluid? If so then yes you do. If not then no you do not. You can purchase the fluid at most grocery stores and all auto parts stores.

my Saab 9-5 is being dumb like that to, i went to the Saab dealer and they gave me a plug saying it was that was wrong but they never told me where it goes nore how to fix it... so i have a plug that is just sitting here anyone know what im talking about?

I'm not an expert but usually that light is programmed to let you know when you need maintenance done and only the dealer or qualified technician can turn it off.
