How to hook up a precision vtec controller
Step 1. Kick yourself really hard .
Step 2 grab all the wires in the back of unit.
Step 3 cut as close as you can to unit removing wires
Step 4 recycle wire in the attempt to recoupe some of your wasted money.
Step 5 firmly grasp 32oz ball pean hammer
Step 6 place unit on the ground
Step 7 aim hammer for center of unit
Step 8 swing from texas ensuring contact with hammer face is close to center, repeat if necessary
Step 9 clean up your mess
Step 10 put all tools away for this project
Alignament rear suspension
I replaced the rear struts, when removing i discovered one was totally bad, they didn't seem bad from testing and recovered quickly when pushing on the bumper, but were bad. after replacing my rear tire wear is even after 5k miles. mine were wearing from inside to outside too.
No spark I believe?
the valves can be open if the cam is still in the head, if you remove the cam and any of the valves are open they are probably bent, this can happen if the timing belt is out of time the pistons hit the valves, if that's the case have the valves replaced and check the heads for damage, the replace head and new timing belt, making sure the timing is correct
Won't start
Will not turn over or will not run ? Can you check for spark while cranking ?
No ignition spark
check the oil level. If the oil is too low there is a safety feature that won't allow the engine to fire.
Can you help me to be able to close my trunk?
The latch mechanism may be broken, stuck in the closed position or may need adjusting. Spray the latch with WD40 and try working the catch back and forth. It may be dry but could be worn out.
Why won't it start?
Can be dirty or poorly connected battery terminals...lights etc can still work...but the starter requires good clean connections to crank (Draws more power) Also, the battery can have a bad cell causing the same symptom...have battery tested too...if not, the starter is bad. Hope this helps.
How to start my 1999 honda civic without key
You can't start this model without the correct key due to the anti theft immobilizer system. Older models (pre96) could be hotwired or a screwdriver to the ignition switch, but not possible on these it newer.
Electrical problem- horn and stop light fuse keeps blowing
With the fuse blowing like that very likely you have short to ground that is one of the wires to the horn or stop lights is making contact with the body of the car.
As for the gear problem, there is a solenoid that is responsible for unlocking the gear shifter when you step on the brake with the key on the run position even if not running.
