Ecm bcm error code f32 was on smelled something burning now its not coming on and car has been stalling

You may have more than one problem. The code F32 is for a problem between the engine computer and the body computer, or a loss of memory. To fix that someone would need to check the ground connections and the harness between the two computers. The engine could be burning coolant like the head gasket problem you mentioned.

Lights come on strong when i turn the key but will only turn over once.

sounds like a loose connection on the starter or windings in the starter are going out suggest replacing the starter is your best bet it is taking all the amps from your battery and the other cars too

How to replace the alternator on a 1999 cadillac deville

This answer is ever so wrong and will get your car damaged or you hurt.

these procedure are for 95 thru 2000 devilles with a 4.6 l engines

1 jack vehicle and place on sutable jack stands, block rear tires

2 remove the lower air shourd from the engine crade under the front of the car , remove upper front cover over rad. and headlight adjustments

3. remove cap from coolant bottle, DISCONNECT NEGITIVE BATTERY CABLE Only

4 place a large catch basin under the left (driver side) of the vehicle

5 remove lower rad. at the thermostat housing CAUTION coolant will be flowing quite rapidly insure engine and coolant is cold before you start

6 remove upper rad. hose from the rad on the right side

7 carefully remove both electrical fans 10 MM retaing bolts, disconnect electrical connections and retaining zip ties , mark fan for proper reinstall as they are not interchangable

8 remove fan retaining mount from top of rad. long black plate

9 remove both 10 mm bolts retaining rad and supports

10 remove coolant catch basin and replace with a pan to catch transmission fluid

11 disconnect BOTH transmission cooler lines fron the left (drivers side) of the read one will be at the top and the other close to the bottom. some slight fluid will be lost ( approx 6 to 8 oz)

12 slightly tilt rad back at the top and remove from the vehicle. place upright in a secure position to prevent damage to the fins they can be damaged very easily.and costly to repair or replace

13 remove the right front tire from the vehicle

14 remove the right front inner fender splash sheild which is held in place with #2 crosstip screws and 7mm sheet metal screws

15 remove serpitine belt using 1/2 drive rachet or braker bar. ( I sugggest investing in a serpitine tensinor removal tool less than 30.00 and can be used on all kinds of other vehicles)

16 remove the 15mm bolt from lower Alt support it is between the battary ground connection and the A/C

compressor mounting bolt

17 using a 15 mm boxed end wrench remove the 15mm lower bolts behind the Alt you will have to get under the vehicle and they are tricky to remove as the exhaust and a bracket is very close and a scoket will not access them.

18 from the top of the engine disconnect the 10mm nut under the black plastic protective cap. be very careful as this is the positive lead back to the battery and will arc out and damage your battery if you did not disconnect the negative cable from the battery STEP 3

19 Carefully disconnect voltage regulator connection from alt.

20 remove final 15mm bolt from top rear of the alt. using a 15mm open ended wrench the bolt will not come all the way out and will hit the exhaust manifold.

remove alt from the vehicle.

21 start reversing procedures to install. REMEMBER to check your serpitine belt for cracks and dammage before you instll it I recommend to always replae it at this time to save future touble,

22 when installing serpitine belt have an assistant hold the tensioner up while you install the lower part of the belt install the belt on the tensioner pulley last.

23 after all bolts and covers have been installed replace lost coolant with DEXCOL 50/50 mix with water DONOT use the ethergylcol coolant as it will pnot mix and will damage the entire cooling system.

24 warm engine up to operating temp and replace coolant cap

25 check transmission fluid level with engine running and warm and in park top off as needed

26 check lug bolt torques

What is a neutral safety switch?

The Neutral Safety switch monitors the position of your gear selector lever and either interrupts or allows the starting circuit in your car or truck to do its job. On newer vehicles it may also monitor the position of the brake pedal to make sure that the vehicle is in park or neutral AND that your foot is on the brake. If your vehicle is equipped with a neutral safety switch, it should NOT start UNLESS the transmission is in Neutral or Park. On the other hand your vehicle SHOULD start when it is in Neutral or Park. If your car will start in Neutral but not in Park, you have a bad switch. Also, if your car or truck will only start by turning the key to the start position and wiggling the gear selector lever, your neutral safty switch is in need of replacement. The nuetral safety switch is usually found near the gear shifter. If your car has the gear shift on the column, then the neutral safety switch is usully mounted on the steering column near the brake pedal. On floor mount or console mount vehicles you will find the nuetral safety switch mounted near or on the shifter mechanism.

My 93 cadillac is not starting after puting a new chip in the key after i replaced the ignition

Did you use the correct key code? That is not a chip it is a resistor embedded in the key shank. You must measure the resistance of the old key and then buy the correct key code to replace it or the system will lock the engine out. Please go here to help you understand how to obtain the correct key code
