Wont shift to fourth it jerks 3 times and wont go to 4th gear

I did every thing short of rebuilding the trans and it still wasn't right, then I realized that it had an overdrive button under the rear wiper/washer buttons. When I pushed it, it seemed to stop jerking but it still would drop into second-limp mode. I am going to replace that switch as it looks like a transistor radio inside.I believe I may have stumbled across the problem. Pushing the OD button did make every thing better for a little while but the light didn't work and it didn't click like a normal swiych/button would do.Wish me luck. ILUno

I have bleed the rear brakes multiple times but still get air and "soft" pedal requiring multiple pumpimg. How do I bleed them if they are anti lock brakes? 2000 Isuzu Rodeo

It's pretty much the exact same process just remove your abs relays/fuses if the brake bleeding doesn't work it sounds like you may need a new master cylinder

Trouble shoot heater fan on a 1996 Plymouth Voyager Van

Check for 12 volt power to resistor under dash on passenger side. Follow wires from under glove box (from blower motor) to resistor, which will be where wires are connected on duct work. You should be able to test for 12 volt DC power there.

Driver window donot go up or down

Check all fuses first then pull switch and test for power at window switch. If power getting to switch, test wires going to window motor. 2 wires to motor, and depending on what way switch is pushed determines which wire will have power. Switch just reverses polarity to raise and lower, so one or the other wire should show 12 volt DC power when switch pushed. If power going to motor, double check you have good ground as well, and if so, motor is shot. You can also double check motor by connecting wires from motor to a 12-14volt cordless drill battery.

Bleeding brake lines after changing lines on Escalade

start at the longest line have a friend pump the pedal and then hold it down while you open a bleed nipple on the longest line. close the nipple and repeat the process until there is no air from the nipple. close off and go to the next longest line and repeat the process eventually ending at the shortest line. Keep an eye on the reservoir level as it will run dry quickly as the air is removed.

Belt comes off when wet. are there tensioner

Tensioners can have the pulley or ride wheel replaced or you can replace the entire tensioner. But if your belt hasnt been replaced in a long period of time it might be time for a belt replacement. A tensioner has a limited amount of travel to use to keep tension on the belt. Once the belt has stressed and stretched to a long enough length then the tensioner cannot apply any more tension.

My wipers are not working on my 1997 plymoth

Have you tried checking the fuses? The fuses usually are located on the driver side of the vehicle in the space above your feet when you are sitting the vehicle usually they are covered by a plastic lid that is relatively easy to remove or the fuses could be also located under the engine compartment hood, find your positive battery lead should be the red one and try following it to a small "black box" it should have the wire going in one side and out the other, again it should be covered with a plastic lid that can be removed, there should be names of what the fuse or fuses are connected to,if one is burnt out replace it with the proper fuse

There a four different engine options fr that year. What engine do you have? Typically one wire will have 9 or mor volts, one wire will be ground and one wire will be the signal wire. Either a square or sign wave depending on the type of sensor. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/jeremy_d728a59f986299fa
