Where is the claxon relay?

I'm thinking you meant, Where is the horn relay? It is under the dash on the driver's side, above the fuse panel. It's the second yellow relay, I believe, but don't know for sure.

Changing oil pan gasket

Plymouth Voyager 3.0L Oil PanOn the bottom the the motor you will find 2 brackets connected to the motor by the transmission loosen off the motor mount bolt ( you don't have to take it off ) undo the bolts holding the brackets to the block of the motor once that is done you can now move the brackets just enough to allow full access to the oil pan access then one by one remove the oil pan bolts which should be a 10mm scocket

How do you put on a fan belt..1996 plymouth

  • The 3.3L & 3.8L engines are driven by single serpentine belt. The belt tension is maintained by an automatic tensioner. The belt operates the alternator, water pump, air conditioner and power steering.
  1. Raise the front of the vehicle and safely support it with jack stands. This is not essential but makes it easier to remove the splash shield in the next step.
  2. Remove the right front splash shield.
  3. Use an open end wrench to rotate the bolt clockwise on the tensioner which releases the tension on the belt. A socket will be too long and the socket wrench will bear against the wheel well preventing adequate rotation. The belt routing diagram is located on the care frame near the front of the hood on the passenger side.
  4. Remove the belt and install a replacement.
  5. Proper belt tension is maintain by dynamic tension
  6. Reinstall the right front splash shield then lower the front of the vehicle.

Note: It is best and saves time to use a serpentine belt tool kit . It costs about $30.00.

The belt is loose and

The belt sweaking is due to poor belt condition and can be replaced.check these tips:

The car is stalling due to poor ignition/ idling settings and so you need to check the fuel settings, the plugs and the timing. Also the idle speed must be put up after the enigne is warm.
