Code reads faulty autoshutdown what is the probem

More info would help, have you checked all your fuses in the PDC under the hood, could be wiring issue, PCM, that controlls the ASD relay, also the PCM needs to see cam/crank signal to work the ASD relay, Do you have spark. access a scan tool to monitor signals and actuation of ASD relay. Like I said ,more info would help, and I'm willing to run you through this.
GOOD LUCK, RDJRP.

I need to shut off the airbag light

the air bag lights on all mopar's/chrysler products are controlled by a sensor in the airbag circuit and come on wehn the air bag has outlived its ability to function correctly which usually means the air bag will not implode safely after that point! you can spend time and money replacing the senor to it! however it will come down to you have to spend serois money buying a new bag . if it's just the light that bothers you? then remove the buld socket from the dash and take the bulb out

Can i change the fuel filter myself if its not

Yes you can. I believe you can!
The Fuek Filter is located above the Fuel Tank. You don' have to remove the Fuel Tank but you do have to slightly lower one side of the Fuel Tank to gain access to the Fuel Filter and hose connection to the Fuel Tank from the Fuel Filter. Slightly lowering the tank requires not removing completely the bolts holding the metal straps.
Take you time. Do this a away from a heating source. Have a Fire extinguisher in the Ready Position (Ring Lock pulled and readily (immediately) available). Do not smoke while changing. Have ventilation and kitty litter to absorb any spilled gasoline. AND Disconnect the negative side of the Battery before starting.

Where is the coolant temp sensor located

It is located on the thermostat housing, you can find this quite easily by following the top radiator hose from the rad to the engine, where it bolts onto the engine is the TS housing, the sensor will be within 5" radius of that, normally has just two wires

Replaced battery and battery light is still on.

Most cases, the battery light come on when the alternator is bad. Basically, it's not charging the battery.
Best to have the alternator checked out by the auto-parts store. Most places will do this for free.

My daughter has a 1995 plymoth neon. It is having

I would suspect something like a faulty mass airflow sensor, but why not take the car to an autoparts store and have them use a scan tool to retrieve any fault code(s) that are stored in the computer. Most parts stores offer this service for free. Getting the codes should end speculation and narrow down the cause of the problem. Sure hope this helped and best wishes.

Are the lug nuts on the front wheels reversed?

The lugs on my sons neon are the same as every other car. Lefty loosey. If they are hard to get off try and use a tire iron that is in the shape of a X, this will give you more leverage to loosen you lugs.
