I had a 2000 xj cherokee and it had a 195 degree thermostat from the factory but in the summer it would always run just below 210

Most likely not. Belt may be stretched and is slipping. Or they don't no how to test correctly at the parts store.

Does it have spark? Does it have fuel pressure from the electric pump? does it have any trouble codes in the Powertrain controls module memory? You need to check all of the above to find a starting point to repair, likely you should just have the dealer pick it up and fix it, the reason special tools are needed and a factory repair manual

Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) P0700 is an informational code that is stored in the Engine Control Module (ECM) That informs the diagnostic technician that there are codes present in the Transmission Control Module (TCM) and that the TCM has requested the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) (AKA - Check Engine Light) to be turned on. This is because the MIL is controlled by the ECM and cannot be turned on directly by the TCM. So, the TCM requests the ECM to turn the light on. To find out the nature of the failure that caused the P0700, one must scan the TCM to retrieve the fault codes stored there. Please note that MOST generic OBD code readers cannot access the TCM - this is the reason for the P0700 code to set in the ECM (to alert somebody with a generic code reader that further diagnosis is needed for the TCM).

Quite likely. Start it up at night and you will see which ones are arcing, or which plug wires are arcing quite easily in the dark.

take it to autozone... a different fuse might be bad? check them

Not starting could be a very wide area. A vehicle needs 2 things to start. Fuel and spark. You need to narrow down what is missing before I think I could help. The active and deactive is in the door switch.Use the passenger side and see if that make a difference.Othere than that roll down a window disconnect the battery put terminal together for 1 minute.leave key in the ignition. Connect battery positive first the negative. reach in the window turn ignition to ACC position (do not crank it). Throughout this period the driver door should be open get in it crank the engine for start.

i think the oil pressure relief wall is abnormally tight resulting relief occurring at high pressure.oil pressure gauge needle position might have disturbed

it is in driver's side fender.you need to remove lining inside fender.here is a picture. #8 is your pump.

I answered this already, you have a defective fuel pump pressure check valve.

Billy you have the main bearings on the crankshaft, but you said a rattling noise, these pulleys are bolted to the harmonic balancer check the bolts that attach the pulley to the balancer to see if they are tight. Sometimes they can work their way loose. If it were a main bearing the engine would have a slight shake to it or in other words while the vehicle is idling the motor would shake along with a loss of oil pressure on your gauge in the vehicle. By the rattling it can be two things that come to mind either the harmonic balancer is coming apart or the pulley is coming loose from the balance. Hope this helps let me know what you find.

Shaun, I've never had to disassemble a Jeep power mirror. One of two possible problems here. Depends on how Jeep conveys the power to the "wing". If they use brushes and contacts, it may just be that the brushes got dirty when you folded it in [onto a corroded contact area] If this is the case, spray some penetrating oil into the gap between the wing and the base. Then fold and unfold the wing several times to clean the contact. Make sure that you have the wing pulled all the way out. There should be a detent that you can feel. If they use a wiring harness going up all the way inside the wing, one of the wires has broken. you would need to remove the mirror, disassemble it and repair the damaged wiring.Charlie
