Sounds like a leak in pump switch and miss fire on 1 and 6 could be do to this and or injector on 1 and 6

Check your grounding strap from the frame to the block if ti is not grounding or it is not in good shape it will not charge the battery

Get an engine diagnosis before you start spending money. Could be the timing.

Well, yes and no.The shroud helps the fan pull more air thru the radiator.So yes the broken shroud could be a factor, but you could also have problems with air flow thru the radiator. Or restrictions inside the radiator for coolant flow.

A blown headgasket.

Broken valve spring or hole in piston youd know the piston cause you would hear it pull the valve cover and take a good look make sure all is well. might have oil dripping in from valve if spring is broken or weak and not closing all the way you do not have to pull the head to check this just the valve cover and check the valve seals they may be rotted do the small stuff before pulling the head. use a good flashlight and take a good long look with rags in hand go over all the sufaces around the area in question you may have a crack hope not but do a good check of the area did i say do a good check of the area ok

Julie, Its easier to add an analog gauge and wiring than to chase around for the factory built-in. It will be more reliable and you will be more relaxed in which direction to seek a resolution on the issue, maybe the battery, alternator, Primary Comp Module voltage regulator, is going weak. Viewing the U-tubes will give better understanding.

get used ecu from wrecker and switch out and c if that works

is battery good, check fuseable links under the hood and the light switch itself..

the speed sensor is located on the rear output housing of the transmission. It is a sensor mounted on one of the sides right before your drive-shaft exits the transmission. look for ta wire coming from the rear of your transmission. Easy replacement.

Did the overcharge or voltage regulator problem go away with the new ECM in it? If so the transmission code.. (turbine speed sensor input) code is probably another problem that the Jeep has.. and the ECM will not fix that, but the input speed sensor that it may need is not very expensive.

I'm not sure where your knock is coming from, but If you rev your engine up and the knock becomes faster and louder you may have a bad rod bearing. If this is the case and you haven't ran your engine too much it is possible to put a new set of bearings in it and you'll be ready to go. But it is possible that you have spun a bearing and the crank would be ruined. Hope that's not where your knock is. Hope this helps, Jeff Horton

Check your fuel relay

It's undoughtly not cabrated. I would check out side to be sure. If it show's your going to turn, Good. If it's not enought. You could replace it. But, I would wait till it quite's. Jerry Dunn
