Cassette player and equalizer mounting

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
   
2. Remove any necessary instrument panel accessory trim plates.
   
3. Unfasten the retaining bolts, pull the unit out far enough to detach the electrical connector(s).
   

To install:

WARNING When installing the assembly, do not pinch the wires or a short circuit to ground may happen and damage the radio.

1. Attach the electrical connector(s), then position the unit. Secure using the retaining bolts.
   
2. Install the instrument panel accessory plate(s).
   
3. Connect the negative battery cable, then check for proper operation.
   

Is it raining wherever you are?

I suspect from your diagnostics described you may have faulty spark plug wires.start[or crank]engine in the dark ;observe plug wires,look for sparks from wires to engine,if evident,replace wires.[one at a time to maintain proper order].

I've seen on some vehicles with a simular set of problems the A/C compressor clutch started seizing,restricting the belt and made it hard to start and run.This is only if the A/C system was inoperative already.Other than that I would check for vacuum leaks.Listen under the hood when the car is running for a whistling or air sucking noise.

pull the plugs....could be full of water and coolant....experiennced same symptoms a couple of weeks ago on a customer car....good luck...Lee

a tuneup-checking plug wire wear n distributer cap insides--dont forget fuel area n injectors also--could possibly hav an ignition switch problem in the steerin colum area

WITH THE MILAGE RESET BUTTON ON DASH PUSHED IN TURN KEY ON CONTINUEING TO HOLD BUTTON IN UNTIL LIGHT SHUTS OFF RELEASE BUTTON.(ABOUT 5-10SEC)

well this is usually handled in the shop on a lift. as to lower the 2 rear cradle bolts slowley to gain easier access to lines going into the rack.(upper should already be removed). but be verry careful as not to lower too far that the steering shaft pulls apart.

could be low luid

If you are asking if you can tighten them,then I would say you are probably not the right person for the job. Which begs the question how do you know it your lifters?

Check gauges means just that. Look at you gauges because one or more of them is indicating an abnormal condition.

NOt an expert but my guess is no. First an airbag uses essentially a powder charge to deploy the airbag. Installation and removal is not recommended for joe shade tree mechanic,it can be dangerous. Secondly all that installation has to have a place to mount and a spot inthe dashboard through which it can deploy. Chances are it if didn't come with one an airbag would have no place to "live". If it is even possible to have it done it would probably approach 50% of the value of the typical car that age. Good luck.

should be in the gear shifter panel..in prak the shioft rests againest the switch ..so the switch is mounted up by the p for park

The tps must be set with a volt meter or scan tool to function properly.
